A video of him watching some hookers peeing would not amount to much, a video of him naked jerking off to them would be another thing.

I don't see it as an impeachable offense or enough to turn his core believers against him. But a video of two hookers urinating on a bed with Trump watching would amount to one hell of a lot. The man would be toast in any election.

The only modern impeachment is Clinton, and that was lying to a grand jury. Trump does not appear to have lied under.oath.

he has.
repeatedly.

just not whilst being President, because, unlike Clinton, he never had to speak under oath since 2016.
If he ever did, and Clinton-rules applied, he'de be a goner.

Just to prove I’m not a party hack:

Marion Berry.

Re-elected after a video of him smoking crack with a prostitute.

Hardly a good analogy. Berry was the mayor of DC. And overwhelmingly Democratic and poor African-American electorate. As a black Democrat in that city, you start out with a monstrous advantage.

And here we have a prime example of expectation management. I've added a bit in highlighted.

Can you imagine plausibly writing the same about any previous president. Or practically anyone who wanted to be elected to anything?

The whole Trump thing is decent evidence that we live in a computer simulation, and it's been hacked by some fat guy/alien/inter-dimensional being in a basement getting his lolz.

What makes the story credible to me is that it is exactly the kind of thing Russian Putin-backed Oligarchs would do: send girls to the room of a guy they want to do business with - it's very probable that Trump (with no clue of Moscow) would not have ordered or paid for them.
It's a way to hook Trump on the lifestyle as well as create something to hold over him.

Its actually what organisations such as the CIA, Mi5, KGB etc used to do a lot... it called "Sexpionage"

I know. But if ghd Steele dossier doesn't contain anything we can right now prove false, it's a way more reliable source than Trump.

Now is a good time to remind people that the Steele Dossier does not contain ANY conclusions; it is merely a series of raw intelligence reports based on surveillance and observations.

So far, a large number of reports in the Steele Dossier have proven correct, and the rest have been unproven.

Importantly, not a single one has been proven incorrect.

Let's be honest. That isn't a high bar to clear. It would be harder to limbo under it.

Yeah, but let's put it this way: when it comes to thing we can prove, it's batting 1.000. I think it's significant that while we can only prove some of the things in it right, we have so far not come across any provable falsehoods. It doesn't look like it was put together with a "fling lots of poo and see if some of it sticks" strategy.

The collusion evolution, by Rudy Giuliani:

- There was no collusion.

- Even if there was collusion, it‘s not a crime.

- Truth isn’t truth.

- It happened a long time ago.

- I never said there was no collusion.

- I said no collusion...with the President of the United States.

The pee tape seems like pure spite to me. I know it was prostitutes he supposedly got to pee on the bed the Obamas had slept in whilst he watched, but that doesn't make it a "sexual matter". I don't think his supporters would be bothered by the pee tape, given all the other evidence of how disgusting a human being he is they've already seen and ignored, and Trump is probably proud of it. Unsure enough of how it would be generally received not to particularly want it released, but not concerned enough for it to be usable as blackmail material.

I would hazard a guess that his base would be quite delighted with such a tape given how they feel about Obama.

Giuliani's saying more things.

In an interview with CNN's Chris Cuomo on "Cuomo Prime Time," Giuliani, a former New York mayor and Trump's attorney, said he doesn't know if other people in the campaign, including former campaign chairman Paul Manafort, were working with the Kremlin during the 2016 presidential race.
"I never said there was no collusion between the campaign, or people in the campaign," Giuliani said.

He added, "I said the President of the United States. There is not a single bit of evidence the President of the United States committed the only crime you can commit here, conspiring with the Russians to hack the DNC."

Linky.

Well, there seem to be two different issues: Cohen saying he fears Trump's rhetoric could put his family at risk from some kind of extremist, and Trump, on Fox News, implying that there is dirt to be found on Cohen's father-in-law.

I'm reminded that Joe Bonanno said in 1985 that he refused to testify because it could be bad for his health. I can't find that exact quote, but did find this: "My doctors instructed me not to testify to protect my life." The person trying to question him was ... Rudy Giuliani.

It would have to be No. 1, though; Trump could not stand being associated with No. 2.

No, but that isn't the same thing as proving it to be true. I can't also disprove Big Foot, alien abductions, Santa or God.
I disagree here I think. Probably much of the stuff is completely falsifiable (unlike Alien abductions and bigfoot), and I would be very surprised if journalists and Trump people haven't already been trying to falsify the accusations. (though if the Trump people know it's all true, I guess they wouldn't be searching for evidence to show it wasn't)

I mean for example, the pp tape story, all he needs is a concrete alibi - some evidence to show he wasn't at the place they said he was (assuming there are dates). In this case it's not the same as proving fairies don't exist.

A Lawyer weighs in on Collusion.

"There is no such thing as Collusion in the US Criminal Code...... It's much, much worse than that!"
