457 days until 2,300 days - Daniel 8:14

Funny that these self styled prophets are quite happy to quote the bible when it suits their purposes but ignore the biblical warning that "nobody knows the day nor the hour".
Funnier still how God believers are quite happy to quote the bible when it suits their purposes but ignore the biblical prophecies that the “2nd coming” will be within the lifetime of those alive at the time.

“you will not have gone through all the towns of Israel before the Son of Man comes” (Matt. 10:23)
“there are some standing here who will not taste death until they see the Son of Man coming in his kingdom” (Matt. 16:28)
“there are some standing here who will not taste death until they see the kingdom of God after it has come with power” (Mk. 9:1; cf.*Lk. 9:27)
“this generation will not pass away until all these things take place” (Matt. 24:34).

It is now nearly 2019. Nowhere on this planet is it “within the lifetime of those alive at the time” any more. That means that the window for these particular prophecies are now well and truly closed. The self-styled prophets of The Bible were every bit as wrong and deluded as all other self-styled prophets like Elwin.

I wasn't trying to make an inference. I was just listing the facts as I see them. Did I get any wrong?
Of course not, since it should be pretty clear that the prophet in question has failed. But this seems like a reasonable place to be facetious, and to point out that the best prophets can spin even total failure into success when it confirms Biblical text.

The best prophets yes indeed. To see some of them in action fills you with awe. The apparent confirmation of Biblical text is easy when you get to make up the interpretation of it.

We have entered into the "age to come" foretold by Jesus in Mark 10:30.

It feels to my exactly the same as the "age we just left". I would love for you to explain how today is different than yesterday. Or are you like the Character in Howard Schoenfeld's Built up Logically who moved the entire Universe forward 10 million years in time, and everything stayed exactly the same because everything moved forward.

As I said. So now we have a different take on it as interpreted by Elwin.

How slowly comes the age to come, and how will we tell? How many hours, days, centuries or millennia do we wait before the latest crop of prophetasters is willing to concede that "now in this time" is not pulling into the station just now?

By the way, I note from the web site that "eternal peace is here to stay." Where is here?

Further edit: on a different note, however vehemently I disagree with Elwin Garland's opinions, he gets some credit for coming back.

Ok, Elwin, I finished cooking and eating my spaghetti. Now I can focus. Guess this is part of the hundredfold persecutions in verse 30 you gotta endure now, but what happened to those days of darkness? Seriously. I’m sure you would never post anything that serious without first praying or consulting with your god, right? I mean this thing of yours has gone on for 2300 days or so. How do you feel now that your god was just jerking your chain, playing you for a fool? I know what it’s like because I have been there before until I finally took a different take on a well known verse from II Corinthians:

“But when I became a man, I put away childish things”.

So basically we all made the cut and no darkness or nukes were required?
A lot.of hoopla for nothing.
