Say, can we make a new rule of "someone who acts like they have a degree in the law, refuses to admit when they are wrong, and is a shill for President Trump"? What would that rule be called?

Entertainment.

In my opinion, however, the new rule you have proposed is little more than a special case of the well-known Dunning-Kruger effect and corollaries such as illusory superiority and Danth's Law. We could probably understand most of what goes on here by applying those more general laws of human conduct.

Just blown away that the Judge would take a ******* hand grenade like a totally false accusation of TREASON, and throw into court on a man's sentencing hearing for insignificant process violations that have a zero-6 month range.

For the zillionth time, he could have been charged with more. The judge obviously felt he could have been as well.

If Flynn doesn't like it, rescind it, put in a not guilty plea, and roll the dice at trial. No one is forcing him to take a plea deal. I assumed with all of your vast knowledge of the law, you'd know that.

Hell, the judge asked him about 12 times if he wanted to do exactly that.

And he feels terrible about it though, although none of the Leftists feel to torn up about it.

JUSTICE FOR FLYNN!

What do you want me to do? Break down crying? Your "justice for flynn" is ********. He's getting off entirely too lightly the way it is...

Danth's law is pretty close. I've pointed it out a few different times. I believe your statement to be completely accurate; however, I wanted a better title LoL.

Telling that I am being questioned for absorbing and analyzing new information by "skeptics."

Judge Sullivan let America down today.

For not being blindly loyal to Trump and trying to pervert the law to completely excuse crime that is politically uncomfortable for Republicans? Truly, such a horror.

Resorting to attacking the judge as being "insane" when he doesn't deliver the desired results is not an unexpected or surprising reaction. It's straight from Dear Leader's playbook to discredit Mueller. Both fail. Frankly, I found it completely predictable.

As predictable as TBD's made his stances, I think that calling it "Dear Leader's playbook" is minimizing it. Dear Leader adopted it, but it's been fairly widespread for a while in fake conservative circles and authoritarian-loving circles.

Just wait until Flynn's cheerleaders start finding out about all the tasty treats he sang to Mueller about.....

Flynn will suddenly slip down the ladder of evolution from "Justice For Flynn" to "Lying Flaky Flynn"

A lawyer in the Courtroom's view:

"Lawyer in the actual courtroom confirms Sullivan goals to induce plea withdrawal, not hostility to Flynn personally, and media misinterpreted (likely deliberately). Also, weakness of Flynn defense was failure to explain their logic of the sentencing brief."

It will take a pretty thick rug to convince me of the former, but yeah, that could have used an actual legal beagle in the court room to explain the latter position.

The Michael Flynn hearing was a hostage situation, with Judge Emmet Sullivan as the investigator

You're quoting unnamed lawyers now? You truly are the definition of "skeptic" aren't you?

LMAO. Who do you think the judge was trying to influence? Himself? Get a grip.

You keep ignoring that this was a plea deal. That Flynn is being allowed to plead guilty to a minor crime and combined with his cooperation in exchange for not being prosecuted for far more serious offenses.

Gov says the decision to proceed to sentencing is based on the totality of Flynn's assistance. Has already provided “vast majority” of his potential cooperation. Highlights indictment unsealed yesterday against Flynn’s business partner.

Judge Sullivan: So Flynn could’ve also been charged in that indictment unsealed in Virginia yesterday, right? Gov: Yes.

Judge Sullivan: “Exposure to Mr. Flynn would have been significant?” Gov: Yes.

How do we (or the Judge) know that Flynn wasn't working for Turkey anymore, when he never registered?
What reason do we have to believe that he couldn't be re-activated at any time?

Equally as dumb and completely full of ******** as the "rule of so".

I could say, but I would probably at least be yellow carded, and perhaps banned if I did!

PS: you committed "Rule of Say" there

Two of the first responses on that tweet allege a conspiracy theory.

Seems about right.

Here is an interesting take for why Sullivan spazzed right the **** out this morning:

"I'm not saying you can't plead guilty to a crime you didn't commit - people do that all the time for a variety of reasons. But you can't *say* that you are doing it, because part of the plea process is admitting that you are pleading because you are actually guilty."

Gee, Covington ****** up and the Judge went to crazy town.
