True, we are making assumptions about the identity of Individual 1, although we can narrow it down to someone who was elected POTUS in 2016.

Maybe he's supplied incontrovertible evidence that was an elaborate ploy by Obama and Clinton to discredit Trump by putting him in the White House.


Yes it's an insane theory but unlike many Trumpette ideas it doesn't actually contradict facts that are in the public domain.

It contradicts Cohen's statements, as well as the SDNY charges which every even halfway credible legal expert (including the pro-Trump ones who work for Fox News) says prosecutors must have substantial hard evidence for (which is also what Cohen claims).

Looking back at the Flynn cooperating document, it says people in the trump campaign.it doesn't say one of those people was Trump. Are you thinking about the Cohen case?

That is making a claim about the contents. Skepticism is not making that claim.

You seem to not grasp that when I reject your conclusions, I'm not endorsing any competing conclusions.

So where are all the missing Text messages between fired FBI agents Peter S and the lovely Lisa Page, his lover. Just reported that they have been erased and wiped clean. What an outrage as the totally compromised and conflicted Witch Hunt moves ever so slowly forward. Want them!
 
I think the base line to this is -- which I have a feeling we are eventually going to get to -- is Trump got Russian financing since at least the mid-2000s and at least some of the funds were money that is traceable back to the billions of dollars embezzled by various Russian officials from the Russian public. The long-term consequences of that probably keeps Putin awake at night. (Luckily for Vlad he lives in a non-functioning democracy. But you never know.)

Anyway, Trump owes a lot of Russians a lot of money, plus he wants to continue to borrow and he's eager to do some "deals" in ole Russkiya. What do the Russians (the Russian government) want? Call off the sanctions and assurances the Trump administration will look the other way when Russians are up to various forms of mischief. Unfortunately for Vlad, he's hooked his wagon to a guy who has a talent for self-destructing.

But when we get to that point the Trumpers will undoubtedly argue: 'k. So what? Not much of an argument but it's all they'll have left. Heck there are still lots of people who profess, Nixon did nothing wrong. He got screwed over big time. If the president does it it's legal, ain't it? ;)
