Ahh, OK so now he's walking it back. Mexico won't pay for the wall per se, its just all this money we're saving due to his "awesome" trade deal.

And "Casino" is a pretty accurate portrayal of real events. The individual the Pesci character is closely based upon did really die that way. I think the term Spoiler does not apply to actual events.

What happened was that Tony The Ant Spolitro (the real life individual that the Pesci character was closely based upon) was called back to Chicago for a "discussion" with the Midwest mob bosses about what had went wrong with Vegas, not guessing that the Mob bosses felt that Tony The Any was what went wrong.
He was told for sewcurity purposed the meeting would take place in a restaurant in a small town in Illinois south of Chicago, and that is where he met his demise.
Tne bosses simply felt that anywhere near Vegas was too sensitive for a hit at that time.
"Casino" is ,for the most part, really accurate. Names were changed,and in real life more then one Casino was involved in the skim operation,and a few things were simplified,but overall the films is accurate about what led to the downfall of the Mob in Vegas.
 
Aviation records filed on Thursday indicate that President Donald Trump expects to have an extended 16-day holiday at his Mar-a-Lago resort.

According to The Palm Beach Post, the Federal Aviation Administration issued an alert on Thursday morning to notify pilots that the airspace over Mar-a-Lago would be closed between Dec. 21 and Jan. 6.

ETA: A better comparison might be those decorative cloth napkins. They aren't intended to be used, but they class up the place a bit.

While may answer was flippant, it was truthful none-the-less. The VP has a single role in government: break ties in the Senate. Other than that, he's decoration/status symbol. And, of course, the failover President.

A bit more seriously, the VP is traditionally involved in meetings and briefings so he's aware of what's going on if he does have to step in.

Seriously the VP literally can just wake up every morning and go "Is the President still alive? Good. Is the Senate tied on anything? Good." and then roll back over and go to bed.
