I'd say it's not so much that he thinks he's innocent, but that he thinks he's above the law.

Why? We have plenty of examples of Trump's tweets aging badly right now...

Trump tweets:

3 Chief of Staffs in less than 3 years of being President: Part of the reason why @BarackObama can't manage to pass his agenda.
(Trump is now going on his 3rd chief of staff in less than 2 years)

He lost the popular vote by a lot and won the election. We should have a revolution in this country!
(A false statement about Obama's second election. Of course, Trump went on to lose the popular vote. No more calls for a revolution.

I do not disagree that Trump has many tweets that have not aged well. But Stacko's post said "Has any tweet aged more poorly?" I'm waiting for after the Mueller report is made public. I suspect there will be Trump tweets even more "poorly aged" than others, specifically in the "no collusion-witch hunt-totally cleared" category.

But there is a difference:
Most outlets try to attract viewers to satisfy advertisers; RT has to satisfy the Kremlin to keep up its funding.

I can assure you, Fox has a market share that drives their programming because they aim for that market.

Poor Flynn had no idea that real life scumbags McCabe/Strzok/Page were setting him up.

And the 302 we talked about earlier? dated 8 months after the interview and written by at least two guys who got fired for lack of candor.

It'll be hard to pick out a tweet that aged worse than the others at that point. We can just declare it like a 50-way tie I guess.
