Looking forward to being with the wonderful Bush family at Blair House today. The former First Lady will be coming over to the White House this morning to be given a tour of the Christmas decorations by Melania. The elegance & precision of the last two days have been remarkable!

The negotiations with China have already started. Unless extended, they will end 90 days from the date of our wonderful and very warm dinner with President Xi in Argentina. Bob Lighthizer will be working closely with Steve Mnuchin, Larry Kudlow, Wilbur Ross and Peter Navarro.....

......on seeing whether or not a REAL deal with China is actually possible. If it is, we will get it done. China is supposed to start buying Agricultural product and more immediately. President Xi and I want this deal to happen, and it probably will. But if not remember,......

....I am a Tariff Man. When people or countries come in to raid the great wealth of our Nation, I want them to pay for the privilege of doing so. It will always be the best way to max out our economic power. We are right now taking in $billions in Tariffs. MAKE AMERICA RICH AGAIN

.....But if a fair deal is able to be made with China, one that does all of the many things we know must be finally done, I will happily sign. Let the negotiations begin. MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!

Could somebody please explain to the Democrats (we need their votes) that our Country losses 250 Billion Dollars a year on illegal immigration, not including the terrible drug flow. Top Border Security, including a Wall, is $25 Billion. Pays for itself in two months. Get it done!

Linking to a web page is done by means of a URL (universal uniform resource locator). The URL is basically just an address (and is usually just a symbolic address). If the owner of a web site notices that some stupid person has linked to one of its web pages, the owner can easily embarrass the stupid person by changing the contents of that web page.

(And if the URL is a symbolic address, that creates a second level of indirection, allowing the owner of the web domain to redirect that symbolic address to point to a completely different web page; that second level of indirection is not needed to explain what happened here, however, and I mention it only to emphasize that Giuliani's tweet was doubly stupid.)

I don't think it was intended to be a link. Rudi did not put a space after the period between G20 and In. I think twitter's software interpreted "G20.In" as a URL (I think .in is a top level domain, maybe for India), and added the code to make it into a link. Then somebody registered the domain and put up the page after the fact. So it was a typo, that accidentally created a link, and somebody exploiting that mistake.

An internal investigation was initiated and the FBI was alerted to the attack...However, senior House Republicans — including Speaker Paul Ryan (R-Wis.), House Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) and Majority Whip Steve Scalise (R-La.) — were not informed of the hack until POLITICO contacted the NRCC on Monday with questions about the episode. Rank-and-file House Republicans were not told, either.

No indication about who it was (other than "foreign parties"). And none of the information has been released publically.

So what do people think? More hacking by the Russians? Perhaps the chinese this time? Attempt to blackmail? Help the democrats (although not sure that would have been necessary)

Lindsey Graham has just ripped Trump a new one over the Khashoggi murder. After listening to Gina Haspel's presentation of the evidence concerning the involvement of bin Salman, he says there is no smoking gun, but a "smoking saw" that the prince was absolutely involved in the murder.

Graham, who led the bipartisan call for the White House to allow Haspel to brief lawmakers after she was reportedly barred from a briefing last week, said bin Salman’s role in Khashoggi’s assassination disqualified him as a potential diplomatic partner to the U.S.

“Saudi Arabia is a strategic ally, and the relationship is worth saving. But not at all costs… [bin Salman] is a wrecking ball. I think he is complicit in the murder of Khashoggi in the highest level possible… I cannot see him being a reliable partner to the US,” Graham said.

Asked if there was a key piece of intelligence that convinced him his initial assesment of bin Salman’s culpability was correct, Graham responded that while there is “no smoking gun,” there is a “smoking saw,” presumably referring to the bone saw that was used to dismember Khashoggi so that Saudi operatives could carry his remains out of the Saudi embassy in Istanbul where he was murdered.

Strange... if you look at the data going back a few years, in the first year the Dow climbed pretty steadily. But in the past year, the Dow has foundered.

Its almost like the further away you get from the Obama presidency and the more impact that Trump and his policies have on the economy (including tariffs and a huge debt load), the less that the stock market benefits. Must be a coincidence.

I think "bloody saw" would have been a better metaphor.
 
Senator Corker said The Prince would be convicted of murder in 30 Minutes.
I think it would take a jury a bit longer...for appeances sake if nothing else...but,yeah, the evidence against the prince is overwhelming.
 
I suspect the person who wrote this, complete with spelling, proper capitalisation and correct punctuation...
