When I hear an American accent in a Berlin bar nowadays (and in the last coupla years), I generally order a couple of decent schnapps, head over, give one to the accent holder and say "My commiserations!".

Every time I get a nod, a headshake, a "**** Trump" or similar, then we move on. Seems MAGA supporters don't travel much, at least to the enlightened areas of the globe.

Why would Trump supporters go to Germany, anyway? It's entirely populated with Muslims in no-go zones.

Seriously, Der Trumpenführer is losing it big time. Tens of thousands of voters are able to vote twice because they change their hat? You need voter ID to buy Froot Loops now? The Special Counsel's investigation operates like the Trump White House?

I think he is on the verge of a breakdown.

This is what I've found, too. I was in Europe in June 2016 and May 2018 for several weeks each. Those who brought up Trump were uniformly bewildered by how such a man could be elected as POTUS. The only answer I could give was "stupidity" and to remind them that the majority of US voters did not vote for him.

The "German Democratic Republic" (East Germany) was a Puppet Dictatorship governed from the Soviet Union.

The "Democratic People's Republic of Korea" (North Korea) is a Hereditary Dictatorship.

For a normal person, this kind of nonsensical and delusional ranting would certainly indicate someone having a melt down. Sadly, for this Piece Of Totally Useless S*** it's just another day in the White House.

Were I a GOP politician, once I'd stopped crying every time I looked at myself in a mirror* I'd be planning how to extricate myself from Trump. He is going to keep making personal enemies including former allies as he blames everyone else for his own shortcomings. He is going to get increasingly erratic as things don't go his way. His cognitive decline is going to become clearer, and that will make it even harder for him to hide his vile personality. With the House and Senate on board, he's had it easy, and is already struggling. With the House against him, he could easily make himself properly unpopular.




*wondering where I'd lost any claim to principles, or patriotism, or responsibility
