I see a possible side-effect, though, if the Trumpkins who depend on FOX News to quench their cognitive dissonance gravitate towards even worse sites if they can't get their "Trump is doing great!" assurances from FOX News anymore.

Sort of like when they banned alcohol and people just went to illegal back alley bars rather than stop drinking.

I agree, though, FOX News trying to be objective would probably hurt Trump badly.

I see another possible side effect that people who dislike what you say and do, take some particular action and find that stops you on some particular media.

I have to wonder if Trump has any inclination to join the boycott in support of his PR sycophants?

Trump and Republican fiscal responsibility in action:

U.S. government spending on the interest costs of rising federal debt will soon force lawmakers to choose between competing spending on health care and education programs, according to the Wall Street Journal.

Interest costs on the 2017 federal debt of $263 billion accounted for 6.6 percent of all U.S. government spending and a 1.4 percent share of the country's GDP. But the Congressional Budget Office predicts interest spending will spike to $915 billion by 2028, or about 3.1 percent of the gross domestic product. Guided by Congress' federal spending boost of $300 billion earlier this year and the Trump administration's individual income tax cuts, a divided Congress will soon be forced to spend more on interest than Medicaid, national defense and a host of other government programs.

Linky.

It's an emergency! We have to cut Medicaid!

Awards for right-wingers:

U.S. President Donald Trump will award America’s highest civilian honor to the wife of his biggest donor during the 2016 election campaign.

Miriam Adelson, 72, was among seven people who will get the Medal of Freedom next week. Her husband is Sheldon Adelson, 85, founder and CEO of Las Vegas Sands Corporation, and a vehement supporter of far-right causes.

...

Sen. Orrin Hatch (R-Utah) will be recognized for more than four decades of service in the Senate and because he has "sponsored more bills that have become law than any other living Member of Congress." Hatch has also been an unquestioning supporter of Trump.

There will be three posthumous awards. One will go to the late Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia for his three decades service on the Court and for being a "champion of the Constitution."

Foreign relations gaffe #9586:

When President Donald Trump met with Dalia Grybauskaitė of Lithuania, Kersti Kaljulaid of Estonia and Raimonds Vējonis of Latvia earlier this year, he started with a criticism. At the White House in April, Trump opened by chastising the Baltic leaders for starting the war in the 1990s that ended with the breakup of the former Yugoslavia. The Baltic leaders were apparently very confused and it took them “a moment” to realize that the commander in chief was confusing Baltic states with the Balkans, reported French newspaper Le Monde.

Another judge using Trump's words:

A federal judge pointed to President Donald Trump’s shockingly disparaging comments about immigrants and foreigners in his ruling that allows a lawsuit to proceed that seeks to block a census question on citizenship status.

U.S. District Judge George Hazel said in a ruling in Maryland on Friday that plaintiffs had properly supported their claim that a Trump administration decision to add a citizenship question to the census for the first time in 70 years was motivated at least in part by discrimination.

In reaching his decision he cited Trump’s widely reported comment in January at a private meeting with lawmakers “distinguishing immigrants of color— ‘these people from ******** countries’—from white immigrants from countries like Norway,” the judge wrote.

Hazel also noted Trump’s “degrading comparisons of immigrants to ‘animals’ who ‘infest’ the country.”

While “these statements were not made specifically in relation to the citizenship question, they are nonetheless relevant to understanding the administration’s motivations,” the judge wrote. “And while the use of racial slurs, epithets, or other derogatory language does not alone prove discriminatory intent, it is evidence that official action may be motivated by such an unlawful purpose.”

In his speech at todays wreath laying Trump said

“...a horrible, horrible war. But a war known as the Great War.”

Does he think that 'great' in this context means it was a good one?

I suspect he blew off the speech writer thinking his winging it was a better approach. :p

You left out the best part:
Although it’s hardly surprising world geography isn’t Trump’s strong suit, this case is particularly notable considering Melania Trump is originally from the Balkans. The first lady was born in Slovenia, which gained independence in 1991 at the start of the Balkan wars. As Le Monde wrote, Trump remained “apparently uneducated in the matter by his wife, Melania, originally from the former Yugoslavia.”
:jaw-dropp

I can just imagine her trying to explain her country's history to Trump, and I can almost hear him yelling "BOORING!".

Make War Great Again!

That is, of course, a parroty account. Err, parody. Nah, parroty is fine.

Why wouldn't they cut both? It's a win-win! All good Republicans hate BOTH health care and education.

That's ******* hilarious. Those helicopters are the very definition of "all weather." They have to be since their most important mission isn't to move the President and his family around faster than a motorcade; it's to get POTUS somewhere safe if there's an emergency.

He probably locked himself in the toilet and wouldn't come out because he was having a bad hair day.

@AbigailBimman
As of now (9:30PM Paris time), Trump has not shown up to the dinner for world leaders hosted by the French president at the @MuseeOrsay. Trudeau arrived at 7:30 as scheduled. Thanks for following along today - I am signing off Twitter for the night.

Maybe he got blind drunk and his "handlers" just can't do anything to placate him. I can imagine him going from anger to tears and back to anger. Tears because no one loves him and he can't get his hair under control, anger as he decides he will just nuke all the F#$#g libtards who keep spoiling stuff for him, and that Bill Gates has got more money than him.
