The Columbine shooters had 99 bombs sopme with timers, some with fuses, only the Molotov cocktails seemed to work - but they certainly intended for them all to go off. I would not say it is a certainty.

If they lack actual triggers, then that is something. However, we have yet not heard that through any official releases.

Local law enforcement source tells @CBSMiami an arrest was made in connection with the suspicious packages at about 10:30 am at an auto parts store in Plantation. A "loud explosion" was heard at the time of the arrest - possibly from a flash bang device used by FBI

There is a van being taken away.... Covered in stickers.....

I look forward to hearing how the van being plastered with pictures of President Trump isn't any sign of anything.
 
So as to continue the investigation, authorities are now holding back the perps identity. Which makes sense seeings the guy arrested may have various accounts such as Facebook Twitter etc. And of course being this close to the mid-term, the speculating could get even heavier here.

Eeeh I'm tempted to give them a non-sinister benefit of the doubt on that. Given the high profile and politically charged nature of the case I won't fault them for not putting info out until they are 100% and have crossed all the Ts and dotted all the Is.
 
CNN: The suspect arrested in connection with the suspicious packages is in his 50s and has a criminal history, a law enforcement source said. While the suspect has an Aventura, Florida, address, he has ties to New York. He was arrested at a business in Plantation, Florida.

Definitely. Make sure they have a case before they out the guy.
