A bomb with a bad detonator is still a bomb.
You said "a" bomb. If we were discussing a bomb, I would agree. But these are 8 with 8 bad detonators. That is 8 failed attempts to make a bomb.

Ok, cite any other expert that you think we are overlooking.
Just point us to the so called experts.
Excited to see some more experts!!
tick tock
Cool. You just preemptively discredited the experts just for disagreeing with your Twitter diva.
Come on, man. Make your own claim: do you think this was a false flag op?

Who said no harm no foul?

HI! dudalb claimed that the expert we cited was contradicted by all the other experts.
there have been no other experts cited in this thread
I asked him to supply the people he referred to as experts.
that has not happened.
neither did you, despite referring to them as experts.
who are these experts?
He sent all these bombs out within a relatively short period of time. If he was using a bad design at the start (or alternatively set the timer too late so that it would be discovered before going off) he would not have had time to correct his mistake between bombings/bomb deliveries. You said "a" bomb. There would have been a time on this forum when people from all over the partisan spectrum would have been tripping over themselves to point out how spectacularly fallacious that was, indeed it is a testbook example of an ad hominem fallacy.
Oh well, I guess I will have to do it.
Cool fallacious argument tho! (yikes!)

Its not like he was the Unabomber, who's bomb making skills evolved and got more effective over the years.
Anyone who's arguing that the bombs "aren't real" and "fake bombs".
Why else would they be arguing along that line if not to prove this whole situation isn't really all that serious and therefore it should be poo-poo'd away?
"No harm, no foul" is what they're implying by claiming "fake bombs".
Tom Ziggy Sauer is fake.
If the only fault that he had was that he liked Trump his opinions might be worth discussing. But go back and look at my posts... that is only one of several faults. He is not only a Trump fan, but he is also prone to conspiracy theories/misinformation (as I pointed out in the very post you just responded to), AND seems quite willing to overlook simple explanations that do not fit his particular views.Errr, yeah, totally embarrassingly fallacious.Errr... not really.
You see, part of being a 'skeptic' means that you consider the quality of the source when evaluating how much credibility to assign to expertise provided by an individual. Someone who is 1) biased, and 2) prone to conspiracy theories is someone who's expertise will have always been viewed with suspicion.
Dump this guy's 'expertise' in the same bucket as you dump Gish's expertise when talking about evolution...
Former bomb disposal expert in the armed forces, but likes Trump, so
REJECTED.

I think the punishment, when caught, should be to seal the guy in a back room with Robert DeNiro.
"You gonna **** with me?!"
Argument from ignorance fallacy.
These so-called experts, you mean?
You're really a master of twisting things to suit your agenda, I'll give you that. But other than that your posts are devoid of substance.
Oh dear. 'k.![]()
Argument for the sake of argument fallacy.
It's your favourite position to play in these forums.
