It’s not my job to extract substance from them. Stop looking at everyone else to do everything for you, get off your butt and do it for yourself. If you can find some substance in them stop your whining and present it in a coherent way.

That is the first thing you have gotten right so far...

Breitbart is a far right/alt right Republican mouthpiece. I have caught them in lies many times, and on more than one occasion, I have caught them quoting an article from another newspaper, and then when I checked the original article from their source, I could see where Brietbart had reworded the article, paraphrasing the person they had quoted in such a way as to completely mischaracterise what they had said... and they still had the blatant dishonesty to put the paraphrase in quote marks as if it was what the person had actually said.

I wrote to them about it, pointing out what they had done. They replied too, saying that was "journalistic licence". From that moment on, I have dismissed any reference to them.

YOU are claiming causation, and in doing so you are assuming that #2 and #3 will support your claim BUT YOU HAVE NO EVIDENCE THAT THEY WILL.

Your claim fails UNTIL you have evidence. The best you can do is to say that you SUSPECT causation, but acknowledge that you have no evidence to back those suspicions up.

falsely claiming that the results of a DNA test support her decades long claims about her alleged Cherokee background, and falsely appropriating NA identity.

Indeed I have posted several articles from NA activists on this very point.

Listen... I can't tell people who to forgive. That's a personal decision that one person can't make for another.

But, even if everything TBD has claimed about Warren was 100% true this you can't just dangle forgiveness as a carrot. Either forgive her or admit that you never will. You have to **** or get off the pot. Don't say "Oh I'll forgive you after you do this thing... no this other thing... okay I'm adding one more thing to it...". That's childish beyond description.

TDB just admit you will never forgive Warren because you believe the lies told about her and nothing will change your mind because you've already decided she's a bad person. At least that would be honest.
 
I see no reason to change my opinion on page 1 that nobody looks good in this, although the reaction of the GOP makes them look a lot worse then Warren's silly attempts to use her very slight Native Amereican ancestory for some kind of political advantage.

what a bizarre statement. I said that she should apologize. Why on earth did you just try to flip the script and put it on the other side, in particular the NA people she offended?

She should take this affirmative step which she has refused to do. End of story.

Ah, that could be and that makes me feel a little better. I don't know why a blog posting from a mere six years ago would be reformatted so badly, but I'll take that as a possibility.

2.Bader is a Harvard grad, who also worked with Freid. (The guy who said they didn't use race as a basis for hiring Warren)
3. He provides first hand knowledge of lawsuits forcing Harvard to hire and promote minority candidates at the same time Warren was hired.

And, of course, it is very weak evidence that Warren benefited from that situation. Since the guy who actually said race didn't play a role was in a better situation to determine whether race played a role, why ought we care about this partisan[1] blog?

[1] Partisan in the sense that it is Libertarian, not Republican, but Libertarians obviously have an issue with anything like affirmative action or outside pressure regarding diversity hiring. (I am not saying that I necessarily disagree. I find it a difficult topic.)

Yeah and then you immediately said that wouldn't be enough and then refused to clarify, because you weren't being honest.

Warren could genuflect before you in a hair shirt and that thing the albino wore in DaVinci Code and you'd still forgive her... after one more thing.

Keep in mind that it was her political opponent in the US Senate election, Scott Brown, who raised the issue in the first place, in an attempt to use it against her for political advantage.

However she was not lying. She said that her family lore suggested that five generations previously, some of her ancestors had Native American ancestry.

That is entirely consistent with the test results. Her family lore is probably correct.
