You misunderstand the law. I'll repeat so perhaps you can get a grasp on my position. You endanger me or my family, make threats to me or my family, I'm going to defend myself. In a car, out of it, beside it. Anywhere. If you think its legal and fine for Antifa to bully people in the streets, you're the one that is wrong. Play stupid games, win stupid prizes. A violent threatening mob attempting to stop vehicles, or beating on them will get flattened. Expect more violence like this if the left continues to support this tactic.

You are wrong. Do you not understand that? Wrong. As we've stated before this is not SYG. There's a very safe (for you and your precious women folk and offspring) alternative. Do not drive your ******** car through the pedestrians. The idiots in both those videos are not being interfered with until they start to proceed through traffic. Which amendment is it that provides for The Right To Get To The Next Corner As Quickly As You Wish? If you could identify that for us, it might help. 'Cuz every other rule on the books says that you are not allowed to ignore pedestrians in a crosswalk or intersection. Even where pedestrians do not have the formal right of way (other jurisdictions) drivers are not allowed to simply plow into them 'cuz they wasn't in a legal crosswalk. Drivers are required to not kill pedestrians. Funny how that works, eh?

A bunch of BLM or Antifa demonstrators are not The Zombie Apocalypse and coming to eat your brains. Stay in your car. Wait for them to pass and then proceed on your way.

Oh, and I've blocked traffic plenty of times. It's called "civil disobedience". It involves breaking the law to make a point, and we're prepared to "do the time" so to speak. What we should not have to be prepared for, though, is getting run down by some vigilante.

River, you do realize that, according to the FBI, there is more far-right domestic terrorism in the US than Islamic terrorism? And that left-wing terrorism is hardly detectable?
When will the Right speak out against the more than 100 people killed in 65 attacks over then last 15 years?

Have you been asleep the last hundred and fifty years? We've seen the extreme right's violence. How many white nationalists have been murdered by Antifa? Just a rough number will do.

Then maybe you want to look up some actual history. Not Donald Trump OMG They're Crossing the Border to Eat Your Brains history. Actual history. Read up on the good citizens of Peekskill NY. The fine upstanding folks in Tulsa. Does Neshoba County MS ring a bell.

And that's just the mob violence and personal violence. How about the organized forces of society? Selma? Grant Park? Jackson State. Kent State. Homestead. Haymarket Square. You're warning us that the right wing might possibly get violent? I think for most of the alt-right, the violence is a feature not a bug.

I think all extremists are idiotic, and ignorant. We should put them in a room together and let them have at it until their perceived war is over.

I'm not seeing any far right protesters doing what Antifa does in many major cities. In fact, the tolerance of either side by LE only promotes its growth. (both sides) I think we need to start locking people up on federal charges when they earn it. If not, things will proceed to grow until a point and time where it will start to effect all Americans.

I do not endorse one side, and then condemn the other. All of the extremists committing illegal and violent acts should pay the consequences. No sympathy for partisanship, or sides.

Why can't you draw the "Us V Them" lines there and not across some (let's be honest rather arbitrary at the end of the day) political spectrum?

If we have to have pure reactionary tribalism as the sole and only driving force in anything we do, as it is becoming clearer and clearer each day is the reality we face, can we at least define the tribes in a more useful way?
