You calling POTUS a liar?
Never. The man is a paragon of virtue and honesty
You calling POTUS a liar?
Trump Tweets
"I am watching the Democrat Party led (because they want Open Borders and existing weak laws) assault on our country by Guatemala, Honduras and El Salvador, whose leaders are doing little to stop this large flow of people, INCLUDING MANY CRIMINALS, from entering Mexico to U.S....."
"...In addition to stopping all payments to these countries, which seem to have almost no control over their population, I must, in the strongest of terms, ask Mexico to stop this onslaught - and if unable to do so I will call up the U.S. Military and CLOSE OUR SOUTHERN BORDER!.."
"...The assault on our country at our Southern Border, including the Criminal elements and DRUGS pouring in, is far more important to me, as President, than Trade or the USMCA. Hopefully Mexico will stop this onslaught at their Northern Border. All Democrats fault for weak laws!"
And that right there is the core of the problem. We have a president who believes that national leaders should have control over their populations.
)And with that a section of clementine nearly asphyxiates me.I'm still trying to figure out who the thin guy in the red tie is supposed to be.
No, he's under the delusion that he SHOULD have total control. Because that's how it's been his entire adult life.Is Trump under the delusion that he has control over the US population?
(seems like that control is actually held by the Russians)
That's not even true. Trump just says it and the cult followers believe.
Mexico is going to build a wall? Nope.
Trump has a plan for better and cheaper health care? Of course he doesn't. Who believed that crap? Republicans.
He won't have time for golf?
Ban Muslims from entering the country? Thank goodness he only did a half-assed job on that one.
Bring manufacturing jobs back? Certainly not in the numbers he claimed.
Renegotiate the Iran deal? Nope. Not unless you consider not living up to the US's part of the deal "renegotiating".![]()

"I mean, you have scientists on both sides of it. My uncle was a great professor at [Massachusetts Institute of Technology] for many years, Dr. John Trump. And I didn't talk to him about this particular subject, but I have a natural instinct for science, and I will say that you have scientists on both sides of the picture,"
"I have a "natural instinct for science"
"Instinct" used to form beliefs is basically the exact opposite of science.
I resent affirmative action Ginger. That doesn't mean I don't see it's purpose and effect.
I'm still trying to figure out who the thin guy in the red tie is supposed to be.

So, Trump is more than willing to sink his much-applauded (mostly by him) trade deal to stop some refugees. I wonder how republicans in Congress feel about that, since at least a few are in favor of free trade.Trump Tweets

A hit. A very palpable hit.
His constant repetition of these things belies the depth of that belief though. There's a tiny miserable naked little trump somewhere deep inside him who knows the truth and that no amount of comforting lies can banish.
The latest “Trump, Inc.” podcast is quite informative.
Analysis of an 8-month-long investigation by Propublica into how the Trumps “pumped and dumped” real estate ventures in an apparently fraudulent and possibly illegal manner over the years.
I never had much of a view on Ivanka Trump one way or the other prior to this piece. Apparently, she was a wiiling accomplice in these schemes, misleading investors as to the value of properties she was trying to foist on them - often properties that never got completed.
Anyway, worth a listen.
The building’s financing depended on obtaining advance commitments from buyers, often before concrete had started pouring. But in between the sale of the bonds in 2007 and 2013, the year the building went bankrupt, buyers of 458 units in the 1,000-unit building abandoned their purchase contracts. Those buyers forfeited more than $50 million in deposits, and they never took possession of finished units. Given that the “buyers” were often shadowy shell companies or other paper entities, it was nearly impossible to discern who the actual purchasers were, let alone why they backed out.
That’s an interesting hypothesis. Do you have any evidence to support it? I posit that it is no less likely that he has a mental disorder that limits both his empathy towards others and his ability to accurately perceive himself and his relationship to the world. There very well might be no little part of him that knows the truth.
