Lessons to be learned from the Kavanaugh Hearing

I don't mind you having a hateful opinion of Trump one bit. I hope you don't mind if I don't hate him but find him brash and narcissistic. I fixed your above.

Yeah, because lying and claiming, for just one example, widespread voter fraud (with absolutely no supporting evidence) is just what America needs to be great again! Never mind the divisiveness--That's exactly what we need!

LOL!

Now, come on, Cabbage. Only liberals are claiming that he lied about that. He didn't really do that...or lie about all the thousands of Muslims in NJ celebrating on 9/11. Or lie about Kavanaugh being "proven innocent". Or the following lies (all from Politifacts)

Every single Democrat in the U.S. Senate has signed up for the open borders, and it's a bill, it's called the ‘open borders bill.’
Oct 6

Lie. The bill sought to prohibit federal agents and officers from separating a child from a parent or legal guardian at or near a port of entry or within 100 miles of U.S. borders.

Says Republicans "just passed" the Veterans Choice program after 44 years of trying. "They've been trying to pass that one for many, many decades."
(Oct 2)

Lie Veteran's Choice was passed in 2014 under Obama. Congress just passed a new version...with overwhelming Democrats voting yes.

Says 3,000 people "did not die" in two hurricanes that hit Puerto Rico. That death toll estimate was "done by Democrats."
Sept 18

The government in Puerto Rico accepted the Milken institute study and raised Maria's official death toll from 64 to 2,975.

We’re making (Medicare) stronger. We’re making Social Security stronger."
Sept 5

Both programs are financially weaker.

"U.S. Steel just announced that they are building six new steel mills."
Aug. 2

Zero new plants.

Nope, Trump didn't lie about these. That's those damn liberals lying about Trump's lying!

If you are going to change what I said, please use the strikeout and not just italics in order to let people know what I actually said and what you said.

"his being accused of continual lies by liberals"

Um. No. His lies are well documented and proved lies by Politifacts and FactCheck both of which are non-partisan. I could mention the Washington Post but you'd just claim they are biased even thought they back up their lie evaluations with facts, not allegations.

" makes the country a better place for all Americans"

You don't speak for all Americans. You like his policies. He doesn't make it better for me as I don't like his policies, his divisiveness, his lying, his misogyny, or his bullying. And neither do the majority of Americans.

You've just admitted that you will put up with anything from Trump as long as he does things that you like. You don't care that he's a lying, bullying, sexist, amoral, self-serving scumbag as long as he gives you a tax break, tries to keep Muslims out of the country, gets rid of DACA, throws hundreds of thousands of people off health insurance, and gets an extreme conservative on the SC. Got it.

LOL you assume wayyyy too much. (typical liberals position) I said my opinion on trump, and what would make me disavow him. If he committed any felonies, or followed any of the democrats/dnc current agenda. I could care less about any politically correct BS. If you see the country as not so great, or worse -- make improvements and elect officials that drive agendas you like. The agendas you assume, and put onto trump and anyone that voted for him are pretty disgusting. Trump was elected for a reason. It's nothing to do with any of the things you listed. If you haven't figured it out yet, you probably never will. When the democrats start pushing agendas that people support -- it will show up in the polls wont it? If not, deal with it.

LOL. Yes, you said that if Trump adopted the Dem agenda or if he were convicted of a felony, you would disavow him. The fact that he has been proven to repeatedly lie (which are not just "liberal allegations"), bully, speak about and act horribly toward women and is a self-serving scumbag is not enough for you.

What agendas have I wrongfully put on Trump?

Did he not promise to put a travel ban on all Muslims? Yes.

Did he promise to get rid of DACA? Yes.

Did he promise to get rid of the ACA which allowed poor people to finally get insurance? Yes.

Did he promise to get conservatives on the SC? Yes.

Yes, Trump was elected for more than one reason including the outdated and unfair electoral system which allows a candidate to win while losing the popular vote by almost 3 million and people who don't care that they vote for a lying, cheating, bullying, childish, insecure narcissist as long as they think he's going to benefit them personally. Like I said, I wouldn't have voted for him if he had been running as a Dem.

Face it, he's a disgusting human being but that's OK because the "I'm gonna get mine, screw you" mentality won. This time. We'll see what happens come Nov. 4.

Still, why were they hitting the car? I'd like to see the seconds prior to that video starting.

It is my understanding per River that they are hitting the car because the driver of the car decided to illegally drive through the pedestrians while they had a legal signal to cross the road. I believe that River (and other conservatives) think it is not only legal but commendable to attack somone if your panties are in a twist and you've decided that other peiple excercising thier legal rights are scary. I may not be getting it all, but the impression I'm getting is that it's only ok to cause grevious bodily harm if your skin is lighter than theirs. (disclaimer: general you, not singular)

No it says "you must submit to the leftist mob, and don't worry about your well being or your families. They can do what they want lawlessly and intimidate and bully you all they like. HAHA"

I've tried to warn the moderates on the left, if you continue to support these antics, it will one day be reciprocated in a way the left is not happy about.

The law is the law. Nowhere in the law are you given the right to drive through a crowd who is not trying to attack you. Just like nowhere in the law is there anything that says, if I'm seated next to Judge Rapist, I mean Kavanagh in a restaurant with a woman I can't ask to be reseated so I don't have to sit next to someone who attempted rape.

There are just so many legal ways to ruin someone's life.

I'll give you credit for one thing. You recognize that the approach used didn't work. That's good.

Your solution, though, doesn't sit well with me. In my opinion, less character assassination would have been a better approach. But, it's hard to know what will play well at the polls.

Giving a fair hearing clearly didn't keep the attempted rapist of the bench. If being fair doesn't work, nothing wrong with being unfair. This was a Trump appointee. The fact that he said yes to Trump justifies any and all legal actions.

You left out the fact that there were all races present, and that the people standing in the road were breaking two different laws by doing so, before they assaulted the guy who was trying to escape.

It must be incredibly frustrating that you see things this way, but law enforcement doesn't.

Just a bit of metadata to highlight that your observations are disconnected from reality.

Conservatives only really care about the "order" part of "law and order", as in maintaining a social order that benefits them exclusively.

That's why they get so bent out of shape when someone who is not them breaks the rules, but when one of their own does it, they are hailed as heroes.

They don't think the rules apply to them. They only think the rules are in place to keep everyone else down while they remain free to do whatever they want.

Cool, ignore the real problem, and blame people trying to get away from the crazy mob thats blocking and attacking them. I expect nothing less until it starts happening to liberals for being liberal. Then... I expect epic whine. Keep supporting this type of rhetoric, and it'll soon come to haunt the left in ways you never wanted it to. Just remember some folks tried to warn you it was coming when it happens, because it's not a matter of if it happens, it will.

If Trump was only guilty of half of what democrats claim, I'd disavow. I get it, you hate the man, and his agendas as President. Guess what? He's doing an excellent job. I hope he continues.

I heard he had a new band going. #MAGA

Are you still gonna claim that you are a "non-partisan" after this post?

Good luck with that.

I voted for the candidate in every election up until 2016. Since the left has collectively lost it's mind, I've decided to never vote democrat again until reform is made with the party. I don't like Trump enough to say I'm not in favor of some party reform with the GOP either. (i dont always agree with GOP policy btw)

After seeing democrats react to this president, and seeing the media machine toss out the worst propaganda I've seen in my lifetime -- I'm over it.

I consider myself a conservative libertarian. Social media from my postings has me listed as moderate. (though i do not claim to be one)

This is comedy gold.

Also, "conservative libertarian" is an oxymoron. Do you honestly not understand that?

You can be one, but you can't be both.
