Not sure how much credibility to give to this, but its quite funny if its true....

Donald Trump has reportedly tried to fire John Kelly, but failed because the White House chief of staff “just ignores him”.
...
“I think the president just doesn’t know who to call to fire him,” the administration official told New York. “Normally if the president wanted to fire somebody, he would call Kelly to do it. But there’s nobody else to call.”
It's funny enough to believe in unconditionally. I'm not normally one for faith, but in this case I'll make an exception.

According to NPR this morning, he's switched to calling in again. They still air his propaganda through that means.
True, but it's the fall-back option, not the preferred one. It lacks the immediacy of the crowd reaction, and makes him appear more like just another politician. No longer the Superbowl game, but the highlights. His schtick has got old very quickly.

Wacky Kanye West said some really weird things in his meeting with Trump yesterday:

1. “This is our president, he has to be the freshest, the flyest, the flyest planes, the best factories and we have to make our core be in power.”
2. Trump “might not have expected to have a crazy motherf----er like Kanye West supporting him.”
3. West said he would potentially run for president “only after 2024.”
4. “I love this guy.” [Followed up with a hug.]
5.*“The problem is illegal guns, illegal guns is the problem. Not legal guns. We have the right to bear arms.”
6.*“Let’s stop worrying about the future, all we have is today. ... Trump is on his hero’s journey right now.”
7.*“There was something about when I put this hat on it made me feel like Superman. You made a Superman, that’s my favorite superhero, you made a Superman cape for me.”
8.*“One of the moves I love that liberals try to do ― a liberal would try to control a black person with the concept of racism because they know we are a very proud, emotional people.”
9. Talking about the Constitution’s 13th Amendment, which forbids slavery:*“Why would you keep something around that’s a trap door? If you’re building a floor, the Constitution is the base of our industry, of our country, of our company. Would you build a trap door that if you mess up and accidentally something happens, you fall and you end up next to the Unabomber? You got to remove all that trap door out of the relationship.”
10.*“I think the way the universe works is perfect. We don’t have 13 floors, do we?”
11.*“Time is a myth.”
2. “You are tasting a fine wine. It has complex notes to it.”
13. “My dad and my mom separated, so there was not a lot of male energy in my home, and also I’m married to a family where, you know, there’s not a lot of male energy. It’s beautiful though.”
14.*“I love Hillary. I love everyone, but the campaign ‘I’m with her’ just didn’t make me feel — as a guy.”

Trump succeeded in saying something just as whacky when he said West

...can speak for me any time he wants. He’s a smart cookie. He gets it.

Oy vey. Someone wake me up from this nightmare. We have an idiot in the WH being given advice by a man with a mental illness who has admitted he's not taking his medication. If West weren't a black man supporting him, Trump wouldn't give him the time of day.

KW wearing a hat in the Oval Office and finger-******* the Resolute Desk.

If any Marine private tried that with a First Sergeant, he'd be pulling back a chewed-off stump.

As much as I despise The PDJT and nearly everything he does, the history of that place is too important not to be respectful of it.

Who the he'll is bullying Melania? I didn't think the White house staff was allowed to knock down the first lady and steal her lunch money. Maybe the Secret Service isnt doing its job?

She's all butt hurt that some observers called her out for being tone deaf for wearing a pith helmet (also worn by British Colonial troops and administrators) in Africa. She kind of whined about wanting people to notice what she did and not what she wore. WTF, she's a fashion model, of course people are going to notice what she wears. Stupid cow.

LOL, they're both referring to themselves in the third person.

I try not to pick on the first family of any President. That is if they stay a civilian. I'll shoot at Eric, Don Jr, Jared and Ivanka, but I have no stomach for taking shots at say Barron. First ladies fall into a special category. I leave them alone if they stick to charities and ceremonial duties and non-controversial issues.

But as much as I want to leave Melania alone she makes it hard to do so. I can't help but see the irony of someone married to an obvious bully choosing anti-bullying as her pet issue. And for someone in her position whining about being the most bullied person is more than a bit much.

Unkind. What Melania Trump has a right to feel resentful about is that she hasn't been provided with staff who'll prevent her making such gaffes. She didn't sign up for this role and scrutiny, and is no more stupid than any other trophy wife.

Well, I told y'all. They're both narcissistic, they're both bigoted, they're both willfully ignorant. Major difference is that West is apparently having a manic episode as well (which does not excuse the other stuff). Nothing of significance was addressed, and nothing will be, because if you just show up and tell a politician in public that they're great, you have already told them not to change.

So, nothing on any issue I pointed out here, which is exactly what I expected. But Dolt 45 got some tv time, which he needed since even Fox News isn't airing his rallies anymore.

And after this, Kanye West went on a tirade at a Georgetown Apple Store.

Also, as someone who failed to learn so much as a second language, I have to respect that she, at least, knows...what, 5-6? Regardless of how the one statement sounded (and her birtherism - yes she did join in on that), I have to respect her for that much at least.

What helmet? I saw her wearing a Panama, where was the helmet?

Melania Trump would make a damned attractive widow.

But she doesn't speak the languages she claimed to speak other than her native Slovenian and English just like she didn't graduate from the uni she claimed she did...or any uni for that matter.
When she went to France and Italy, both languages she claimed to speak, she used some very basic, beginning level terms that you learn in the first semester of language classes. Hello, my name is...., what's your name, etc. is about as much as she said before switching to English. When Jackie Kennedy went to France, the papers in both France and the US were full of reports of her fluent French. Watch the videos of Melania using French...very basic. When Macron and his wife visited, there was nothing said of Melania speaking French. Madame Macron could very easily have complimented Melania on her French which would have been an obvious thing to do. She never did.

* I had to laugh when the subtitle said "je m'apple" instead of "je m'appelle"

While Melania's totally the most bullied person ever, it may be worth peeking at Georgia. Georgia Republican puts 53,000 voter registrations on hold, which may hand him the election.

Tuesday, Oct. 9, was the last day to register to vote before next month’s general election. One would think that the secretary of state would be working to quickly process registrations to make sure that all eligible voters who wish to do so are able to vote. But not in Georgia under Brian Kemp’s watch. Right now, there are approximately 53,000 applications that are on hold with Kemp’s office. An incredible 70 percent of those applicants are black. Kemp’s office claims that “the law applies equally across all demographics.” But with a list of tens of thousands of voting applications on hold from Georgians who are predominantly black as well as hundreds of thousands of voters purged from the rolls who are also mainly black, the evidence shows a different story.

Democrats are bad people for thinking that racism is likely involved, though. It's obviously just pure partisanship. Really!

In other news... Billionaire Sheldon Adelson giving Republicans in House and Senate a last minute cash injection.

On Wednesday, Propublica reported that Donald Trump directly lobbied Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe over a casino license for gambling magnate Sheldon Adelson. The bluntness of Trump’s attempt to secure the deal for the Republican billionaire shocked Abe, as Trump didn’t just inquire about the license but insisted that Abe should “strongly consider” inking a deal with one of Trump’s big money supporters.

One day later, Politico reports that Adelson likes the kind of attention he’s getting from Republicans. And he’s ready to tip the Party for their service.

Las Vegas casino mogul Sheldon Adelson is pumping tens of millions of dollars more into Republican Party coffers in an 11th-hour push to save their congressional majorities, according to two senior Republicans familiar with the donation.

Nothing fishy there!
