A logical person should be concerned about lying today about that event and related issues that came up reflects poorly on his current character.

He may have been a partier or whatever when he was young. May have done bad things. He baldfaced lied about them today. That is a serious integrity issue.

I think the cartoon shows the Republican position that they don't care what Kavanagh does/has done and wants to force him in. The cufflinks in the cartoon don't say 'BK' and the victim is not Dr. Ford.

A logical person might be thinking that when multiple people come forward independently to accuse even a burger flipper at McDonalds of rape that it's worth investigating. The Supreme Court Justices should be held to a higher standard than that.

That he didn’t get blackout drunk?
That he claimed boofing and the triangle game are different things than what urban dictionarys claim? It is plausible to me he doesn’t know the meaning and when he was a high school kid trying to be cool he pretended ( along with his friends) to know. He was a jock / frat boy / #1 in the class / captain of the basketball team, going out for brewskis with chip and PJ and having 'beach week.' He wasn't *trying* to be the cool kid; he was the cool kid.

In my opinion he shouldn’t have mentioned the Clinton loss theory.
I don’t think I would consider his responses angry vitriol considering the questions and but I could understand if he was vitriolic
More important to me would be have there been many complaints about his actual demeanor and partiality while on the bench?

The ABA standing committee evaluates nominees based on professional competence, integrity and judicial temperament.

I suspect the ABA did review his record before giving this rating.
