Ok so it wasn't a typo. He actually said that. I wonder why no one answered me on that.
Did you ask a question?

No, actually, you get the steel at the same price you were paying before Trump started mucking about. This only looks like a good deal to the people who think it's a "sale" when the furniture store raises their prices on Monday, then drops them back again on Friday for a "Tent Sale".
And what's to stop the Koreans form raising their prices 12.5%, which still lets them undercut everyone else who's stuck with the 25% tariff? If I was a Korean Steel Magnate, that's absolutely what I would be doing. And some idiots in the US would be thinking that they're getting a deal, 12.5% cheaper than that Chinese Steel! WooT!
Your post didn't establish what time periods we we're comparing. I was using immediately before the signing, not before tariffs were implemented in the first place.
That's OK - perhaps next time you'll remember.

It's probably too early for anyone to have properly fact checked it yet, but I suspect that his claim to have added $10 trillion in wealth to the US is untrue.

What are you doing here? Why didn't you check my question instead?
Those are two questions, by the way.
. That is so satisfying to watch.
You didn't ask one. Sigh.
