Looks as it the GOP and Trump are going to ram the confirmtation of Kavenuagh through no matter what.
Not the SCOTUS will be politixised in a way it never has before in our history.
I keep on telling you people, if the Dems don't win in Novemver we might not have a democracy by 2020,l and it will be come a case of resistence by whatever means necessary.

Trump comments on Sessions

"I don't have an attorney general. It's very sad," Mr Trump said during Tuesday's interview.

He added that he was "very disappointed" about Mr Sessions' decision to leave the investigation.

Asked whether he would consider firing Mr Sessions, the president responded: "We'll see what happens. A lot of people have asked me to do that.

Mr Sessions has pushed back against previous criticism by Mr Trump. "While I am attorney general, the actions of the Department of Justice will not be improperly influenced by political considerations," he said in August.

"I demand the highest standards, and where they are not met, I take action."

Whenever Trump claims " a lot of people have 1) told me or 2) have said or 3) think or 4) fill in the blank, you can pretty much count on it being a lie.

Trump has told the Spanish to build a wall across the Sahara to keep immigrants out.

Such a wall would have to be 3000 miles long, and built entirely on non-Spanish territory. "Excuse me, Algeria, I hope you don't mind, but we're going to build a wall across your country". At least Trump's wall on the Mexico border would be on USA territory if it were ever to be built.

Yeah, I read that a few minutes back. That has to be one of the stupidest things I've heard this year.

From the most powerful man in the world.

Wow. Unhinged or what?

Algeria may appreciate the influx of jobs and capital. Perhaps it would become a tourist attraction as well :)
Egypt probably generates a fair amount of revenue from the Pyramids, and who would ever visit South Dakota without Mount Rushmore?

South Dakota without Mount Rushmore is North Dakota.

He's got a real thing about walls. I wonder what caused that.

Respect for other people's property has never been one of Trump's strong suits. Especially if that property is other people's money, but it's all the same to him.

At least Trump's wall on the Mexico border would be on USA territory if it were ever to be built.

Where he would demonstrate his utter lack of respect for the private property of American citizens.

I find that kind of low.

My thought exactly! How could more than half the people think that either Nixon was less ethical than Trump or be unsure about the issue?

Nixon had political principles. While he did mightily unethical things, he was still at least driven by certain principles. Trump is driven by short-term self-interest and nothing more. To be driven by principle, even political principle, is to be more ethical than to be buffeted by the winds of self-interest.

Fmr. GOP state senator and Trump campaign chair sentenced to 15 years for child sex trafficking

Uh huh. What's the count of criminals in top positions of Dear Leader's campaign, now?

In lighter news, Bigfoot is on the loose!

How does one go about locating one of the most endangered Republicans in November’s midterm elections? If you ask Dean Phillips, the Democrat challenging five-term incumbent Rep. Erik Paulsen (R-Minn.), the natural answer is to turn to Bigfoot.

The ad is hilarious!

"Great new book by Jason Chaffetz appropriately called “The Deep State.” Very interesting indeed!"
