The fact that you do not understand that different kinds of horrors require different techniques for fighting them is part of what makes you such a useful straw man for China.

You cannot grok the difference between the eradication of religion and the consolidation of religion under government control. This is why you, and those who make the same mistake, will achieve nothing on this matter.

We're talking about a guy who literally cannot understand that fighting a government trying to eradicate a religion requires a completely different set of techniques than fighting a government that's trying to control religion. :jaw-dropp

For him, the Islamic eradication of Zoroastrianism in what would become modern day Iran is the same horror as the German NAZIs forcing Catholics and other protestants to join the official NAZI approved church.

I'm sorry, I should have been more clear: the talking in tongues is clearly the more entertaining thing to watch. Those guys are into it AF.

Since its very beginning, the longevity of this thread depended on such constant lack of understanding. It's more of a design feature than lack of capacity.

Lets save arguing that it is inconsequential by saying that a post on the internet is "more appalling,"
or explaining the "logic" behind it,
or saying that they were only attacking "dissident" groups,
or saying that the Chinese were correct to do so because "theocracy, etc"
or desperately trying to derail the issue through the most spectacular series of whataboutism that should embarrass a junior high logic class,
or by attacking the messenger
or calling Human Rights Watch "useful idiots."

The claim was that the Chinese Human Right Abuses were understandable because "It's my understanding that one of the tenets of Christianity is establishing theocracy."

TBD requests anything to support that silly claim, gets hysterical arguments like "Speechless. Just speechless. Do you read this stuff, or just vomit it up?"
