Are you then saying the American sniper lady speaks for all veterans? What is your point?

Ahem,

y'all know I was referring to something our correspondent wrote right here in this thread, which is why I used quotes.

Perhaps you will ask that question of the person who wrote what I was quoting.

No one knows what you are saying. Why would you quote that other person? We understand you used a quote, but it seems to in no way inform a point.

You said the conduct "can be insulting to other groups". The person you quoted did not. I have no quibble with you pointing out "actions" vs. "words" per se, or I would have said so. I directed my complaint at how you worded the response. I leave Dr. Keith to defend himself on your complaint.

I think it's amusing that The Big Dog is getting his nose out of joint because of the 'piggy' socks.

I doubt cops are. For at least a decade, the Seattle Police and the Tacoma police engaged in a charity football game named the Bacon Bowl

Why do the socks thing comes up? The anerican sniper lady says it is about veterans. The socks are about cops.

I was pointing out a false dichotomy in the above quoted post.

I think wording it a bit clearer would really have helped, since it appears none of us could tell exactly what it was you were trying to say.

Well, as my pappy always said It ain't easy to make chicken salad out of chicken ****, one deals with the cards one is dealt.

What makes you think it is nonsense?

It is nonsense because it has **** all to do with his protest. His interpersonal dynamic with his significant other (whether he is pussy whipped or not) doesn't even enter the realm of pertinent information. Hell, I don't even know if the guy is dating, nor do I care. why would I? Who cares if he's whipped? who cares if he likes whipped cream in his mocha? who cares if he likes whips and chains and flipping out with great danes?

You know nothing about it, but declare it is nonsense. Hmmmm. Sounds legit.

What if I told you that all the "activism" he does is directly related to his adoption of his gal pal's hate filled ideology. Would that be something you would find of interest?
