Trump Tweets
"We are breaking all Jobs and Economic Records but, importantly, our Country has TREMENDOUS FUTURE POTENTIAL. We have just begun!"
"Apple prices may increase because of the massive Tariffs we may be imposing on China - but there is an easy solution where there would be ZERO tax, and indeed a tax incentive. Make your products in the United States instead of China. Start building new plants now. Exciting! #MAGA"
Doesn't any of his base get worried by the word, "fealty"?
Also, "Homegrown Terror Events"? I'll just assume they're taking credit for the upswing in open white supremacist violence.
Parkland was on whose watch again? I usually hate whataboutery but rightwingers are just asking for it sometimes.
He claims that ahead of the rally the crowd was instructed that they had to be enthusiastic and clap and cheer.
Does any of his base know what it means? Or own a dictionary? Or a book?
Wait, does he think we build apples? Or just manufacture the trees?
I actually just realized he's talking about the overpriced computer and phone company.Wait, does he think we build apples? Or just manufacture the trees?
Dems know far more about white supremacists and Nazis than we do. They talk about them all the time and I personally have never seen one anywhere except those depicted in "Charlottesville, An Evening With Dems And Their Tiki Torch Guests".
That's very true; Democrats actually, you know, read books and stuff for one thing. The other is that white supremacy and Nazis generally tend to fall into the same sort of authoritarian mindset that Republicans share so it's probably harder to distinguish one from the other very easily.Dems know far more about white supremacists and Nazis than we do.
White supremacists/Nazis don't run for office on the Democrat ticket; they run on the GOP ticket. That should tell you something.

It's not just that it's 50 years old but that the known racist only served as governor in a southern state and never once succeeded in advancing further in Democratic circles. You're going to use a 50 year old reference? This is why I ignore most of your posts Bob.

Yes, this is a good thing to highlight especially here. And Wallace ran for President as an independent in 1968. A number of Democrats switched party allegiance after the Democrats put a stake in the ground saying 'no' to racism with the Civil Rights Act of 1964. LBJ is known to have said after pushing the legislation through that it would likely bury the Democratic Party for a generation.
Not a good example as the only thing the Southern Democrats of the pre-Civil Rights era have in common with the Democrats of today is the name.
I have to laugh when Trump goes on about Lincoln being a Republican as if the party of 1860 has much in common with the party of today.

The name is what matters. It is the same party. A party that changed its policies one year can change them back a few years later.
