Trump just claimed that Lester Holt, the guy who did the interview where Trump admitted that he fired Comey because of the "Russia thing," has been caught fudging the interview.

Most people are responding with, "Trump accuses Holt of altering the tape" but that's not what he did. He went further than that. He claimed that Holt was CAUGHT fudging the tape. That means that somewhere, someone has provided a basis for the claim that Holt fudged the interview.

As we would say here, sources, please? Who caught Holt? And what the basis for that claim?

No one knows of any basis. Brit Hume on Fox News even says it's baseless. The source appears to be pulled out of Trump's ass.

He is trying to invent a new reality. And the problem is, his supporters will by it.

If so, it's badly aimed. Turner has been pretty much out of active management of his Television networks for over 20 years, when he got forced out in a power struggle with other members of the Warners board. Ted got too ambitious, tried to take over Time Warner after he merged Turner inc with them, and lost.

California man arrested by SWAT after making several death threat calls to the Boston Globe. He parroted Trump's "fake news" and "enemy of the people" lines.

A bit of humor, he was quoted by the Globe saying: "Alright, why, you going to trace my call? What are you going to do [expletive]? You ain’t going to do [expletive]." Two weeks later he was arrested and charged with a felony.

I haven't paid attention to his life in a long time. I just remembered that he was associated with CNN and he's probably more of a real billionaire than Trump.

Nor has any one else. Turner de facto retired after his attempt to seize the CEO spot at Time Warner failed.
