I'm kind of curious what he's going to be doing during the funeral. He'll either go golfing to show it's not important to him or he'll try to upstage it with some major announcement at the White House. It's going to have to be really big, like fire Jeff Sessions big.

ETA: That's not a prediction, just an example.
 
So. Brett Kavanaugh is now likely to receive his 51st vote (perhaps only his 50th) from a non-elected replacement for John McCain, two months before a national election. The GOP is going to do the consistent thing and wait for the election now right?

For a sitting President to be publically disinvited from a funeral for a distinguished member of his own party..........That is some kind of a new low for a sitting President.

Any non penitent statement made by Trump was always going to be in a losing battle with his own body of work and probably why not effort was made.

I noticed he retweeted a bunch of his own earlier, recent tweets just after that. My guess is to get the sympathy note to "scroll off the page". Notice he ended where he started, with the stock market report.

OH good Lord. That man has such an inferiority complex when it comes to Obama. The economy made steady gains throughout Obama's presidency. I'm surprised Trump is blaming Obama for the crash in the first place. Trump isn't fit to lick Obama's boots.
 
No doubt the fact that Obama will be delivering a eulogy will be chewing at Frump's butt as we speak... particularly because Obama will get plenty of air time afterwards from all of the news media.

Yup, it's going to chew away at Conald Frump's arse but good.


So with that thought in mind, here's my prediction:

A day or two after McCain's funeral, the orange clown will inform all of us just how terrible Obama's eulogy was... how terrible the economy was under Obama... how horrible Obama was as a president... and how the Kenyan born muslim doesn't even know how to pick out a proper tie for a funeral.

We'll hear about how behind closed doors Trump and McCain had some great talks, the best... and how Obama didn't have those kinds of talks with McCain like he did.

And Trump's eulogy would have been the best. The greatest in American history. Obama did such a disservice to such a great American war hero with his crappy eulogy, sad !

Or that what happens to Trump won't have much long term impact on the markets,period.
Or they figure even if Trump goes, there will still be a Republican in the White House.
And I think a lot of the business world has no love for Trump because of his tariff policies.

I wonder if Trumpelstiltskin is going to continue to mock McCain's "thumbs down" vote against repealing the ACA. It would be tacky, petty, classless, and stupid. Which means he probably will.
