Sure, Trump is absolutely a crook, and his cronies are crooks. They're just much more obvious crooks than the usual people on the hill. But Trump lied to his base and used them for his own benefit. The 'law and order' president has just gleefully dumped his own wad of toxic waste into the swamp in order to make it feel more like home. I hope that people who voted for him for this reason will see it.

I was thinking about that. Sometimes the prez has to be the Mourner-In-Chiff and provide an appropriate eulogy. I think this is best exemplified by Obama at the observance of those eight black Christians who were murdered somewhere down south.

I just don't think Dump has it in him to play the necessary role ... especially with McCain. I predict cringe worthy would be a huge understatement.

On the other hand, the McCain family may well ask that he not attend a funeral.

I thought about creating a thread on Trumpish Republicans being treated as social lepers. This morning a college I teach at kicked off Faculty Development Day, and at the end of session in the auditorium, a woman said, "Let's make [institution name] great!" Maybe she saw eyes in the audience flood in fear because she very quickly and very apologetically added, "Sorry. Sorry. ... Sorry." (Everyone was laughing.)

Oh good God! What a putz! That man has no common sense at all. I knew he was going to be bad, but he's surpassed all my expectations.

Sheesh...I thought that was Kellyanne Conway at first glance. Come to think of it, I doubt there's much difference. She's nuts, too. Her interview of Cuomo was mind boggling. I've never seen so much lying...except at a Trump rally.
