Trump should have been standing proudly for America's intelligence community, its Department of Justice, and its free press in Helsinki. Instead, he stood up for Putin's "strong and powerful" denials and told the nation that those core institutions are conspiring to deceive us. And he wants black athletes fired for not standing up when he thinks they should?

The current exchange rate is $1 = 6.46TL. That's as bad as I have ever seen the lira. Meltdown. It's not, of course, due just to the tariffs listed above. For his part, Erdogan asked everyone to sell their dollars and euros to buy lira. Yeah, right. People are doing the opposite. Also, inflation has been really high for a while. It's tough here and I think it will get a lot worse before it gets better. Hopefully, it doesn't spread to the countries that hold lots of Turkish debt.
I'm sure Trump would love nothing more than an economic crisis here or in Europe.

He's taken harsh actions against Russia, and done well with the economic growth factor, but his own rhetoric on small fry issues, and his off-the-cuff messaging have always been his weakest links.

The NFL is a business organization, and they dictate whether or not the athletes can kneel for the anthem while on the job if they can stomach alienating a percentage of their own viewer-base. I personally think they should be carrying out their protests on their own time, but on the same token Trump doesn't need to dedicate so much attention to it either.

His public messaging in Helsinki was a huge mistake, but calling it "treason" is hyperbole.

Just because he's too stupid (willfully or not) to get it doesn't mean that they don't.

Here's former NFL player Desmond Marrow being slammed by police.

And here's NFL player Michael Bennet, who had a gun pointed at his head after leaving a room that police ordered everyone to leave.

I'm pointing these out specifically to note that "It doesn't happen to these NFL players, so they should be quiet!" argument is wrong on it's face, even after they've joined the NFL. And of course, they can still object to police mistreatment of other people, whether family, friend, or stranger.

Pains me to day it, but I put Omarosa down their with Trump when it comes to creditability.
I don't think we have to go to a source as questionable as Omarosa when there so much more reliable evidence about what a lying douchbag Trump is.

If she's ever cared about anything besides money and fame, I would be shocked. Such people should never be taken at their word.

This. As much as I hate Trump, I would not care to use what Omoroas says against him, Using bad,unreliable sources usually hurts your case.
 
I hesitate to post this. Preet Bharara interviews former Republican strategist Steve Schmidt. Bharara tries to keep the interview focused and his voice sounds like Sam Harris. Near the end, Schmidt delves into some unfortunate slash nauseating McCain worship.

He answers some legal questions in the beginning, which I found interesting, but the interview doesn't begin until the 19 minute mark.

When real excerpts start circulation, she actually has taped audio to back up some of the direct quotations so you don't have to take her word for it. On the other hand both George Conway and Frank Luntz have disputed quotes from her in the early access reads for which she doesn't have recordings so anything she didn't record is extremely suspect at best.
