More details on the sale of BLP's headquarters/lab just for fun:

The only reason I can think of for him to sell his (apparently) very profitable real estate holding is to make it easier to fully cash out in the next few years.

Maybe it's dawned on him that his scam is getting a bit long in the tooth.

Perhaps you're joking. Of course BLP has filed patents and been granted patents on hydrino technology. Go ahead, advertise that you are trying to do hydrino chemistry and see what happens.

From the BLP website: The Company’s main priority is to file and obtain patents relating to the BlackLight Process, systems, and applications of the process. We have filed numerous patent applications worldwide regarding these embodiments to protect the technology as it has progressed to the current SunCell®, CIHT, and solid fuels technologies being pursued for commercial use.

"Irrational intransigence", good one. How about simply being protective of their technology and financial interests including those of their investors, like any company with substantial IP.

Patents do not prevent academia from engaging with Mill's findings. I know of no case of Mills refusing to let an academic institution investigate hydrino.

The marketing blurb you quote does not reflect reality, just the marketing BLP presents its investors.

Theranos at least had the decency to patent their imaginary technology properly.

Your determination to impugn Mills' honor is handicapping your vision.

Oh, just go Full Trump(tm) and type FAKE NEWS in all caps whenever people ask questions you can't wiggle around. It'll save you a lot of time without having a negative impact on the accuracy or efficacy of your message.

We know what that looks like. Hydrino compounds and trapped dihydrino are not that.

No we don't. Nobody does. Mills can't even be consistent in his claims about if he's produced Hydrino compounds. Your assertion is unfounded, even withing the fantasy realm of Mills chemistry.

An irrelevant video is still irrelevant to Mills hydrogen delusions

It's more than "can levitate superconducting objects". They are locked in place at a certain distance from the track. Otherwise the object would have left the mobius track due to centrifugal 'force'.
31 July 2018 markie: An irrelevant video is still irrelevant to Mills hydrogen delusions.

The superconducting car is levitated up from the strip when the car is on top and "levitated" down from the strip when under it. The technical term is flux pinning.
See about 5:28 in this video for why the induced electrical currents allow the superconducting car to cling to the strip even when upside down.

A reasonable person would observe that Mills' honor has been impugned by his own actions. Or, are 30 years of empty promises somehow regarded as honorable?

The emperor has no clothes, nor hydrinos, despite planning to (supposedly).

Not sure it is entirely your fault. Part of the game is to make it as difficult as possible to find hard data.

Exactly. Claiming that some third-party's "honor" is impugned is simply an attempt at shaming to control or divert the unanswerable problems raised regarding that person's odd, illicit, or unethical behaviors and beliefs.

Exactly, sir. Apart from a horrid misspelling of 'honour' (and 'behaviours'), I must agree with you!

From Wiki, my bold:

Bell's Theorem: If the quantum mechanical formalism is correct, then the system consisting of a pair of entangled electrons cannot satisfy the principle of local realism.
Although the current Wikipedia article does indeed say that, that is not what Bell's theorem actually says.

What Bell's theorem actually says is that under certain specific assumptions, all of which are assumed by classical physics, certain inequalities must hold.

Bell's theorem is true independently of the experimental evidence.

When combined with the experimental evidence that says the inequalities do not hold, the conjunction of the experimental evidence with Bell's theorem implies that at least one of the classical assumptions does not hold (from which it follows that no explanation based on classical physics can be consistent with the experimental evidence).

I believe the sentence you quoted was intended to explain the consequences of Bell's theorems in light of the experimental evidence. It does not give a correct statement of what Bell's theorem actually says, because Bell's theorem does not refer to the experimental evidence, and the conclusion you bolded cannot be derived without using experimental evidence.

(Even then, there are a couple of other assumptions, such as counterfactual definiteness, that could be rejected instead of or in addition to local realism. Selecting local realism as the assumption that must be rejected is a choice based upon considerations that lie outside of Bell's theorem and the experimental evidence, and that choice is actually mildly controversial.)

The importance of those details to this discussion is that markie has been saying Mills has given a classical explanation of the experimental evidence that show Bell's inequalities do not hold. markie's claim is false, because classical physics assumes all of the hypotheses of Bell's theorem. To come up with an explanation that is consistent with the experimental evidence, at least one of those hypotheses must be taken as false.

As I have said multiple times, you thinking that hydrino compounds are merely hydrogen infiltration is strange. We know what that looks like. Hydrino compounds and trapped dihydrino are not that.
Markie.....take a look at one of those crystals and analyse it.

Or better yet since Mills sent so many to independant labs to be tested, show me the lab results.

OOPS not one single solitary lab found any "dihydrino" or other dihydrino compounds!

Mills saying he will send out crystals he predicted had hydrinos is NOT the same as labs returning a positive analysis claiming they actually found one.

Pay close attention. NO hydrinos were ever found. Only normal hydrogen

Since we're talking about merely reproducing the creation of hydrinos, your discussion of hydrino chemistry is rather putting the cart before the horse.

That fact remains, they have no patents on the fundamental processes for creating hydrinos. You've perhaps forgotten that some of us here actually know what we're talking about.

This information is publicly available for those willing to look, and not just spout nonsense.

http://patft.uspto.gov/netacgi/nph-...1=INNM&co1=AND&TERM2=mills&FIELD2=INNM&d=PTXT

That gives you a list of every US issued patent* that names Randell Mills as an inventor. Only two relate to hydrinos at all, and only one deals with the fundamental creation of hydrinos, and it's the one that was withdrawn by the USPTO once people pointed out that it was crap.

I've done some recent searches on other databases, and there are almost no issued patents anywhere in the world. What there are tend to be in obscure jurisdictions, which again have zero impact on researchers in the US, and other high tech nations.

Patents do not prevent academia from engaging with Mill's findings. I know of no case of Mills refusing to let an academic institution investigate hydrino.

By law, Mills can require labs to ask permission. Not sure of the scope of international applicability to this.

Seems like you're contradicting yourself here. Not that that will surprise anyone.

*Do I really have to explain again the important distinction between a patent application and an issued patent? You can apply for a patent on literally anything; it's getting it issued that's the key.

That fact remains, they have no patents on the fundamental processes for creating hydrinos.

This is the part that really gets me. Yes, there are a lot of red flags, but even if everything else was explained away the fact that there's nothing stopping anyone from just using hydrinos for themselves and that, in spite of that being the case, nobody has done so even just to verify they exist and write a paper on it?

Absolutely impossible to explain without the whole thing being a hoax.

Nobody would put money into Mills's scheme if there wasn't something in it. That's just hard common sense!

Isn't it, Markie? Markie, isn't it? Markie? Markie! Hello already!

As an American who worked for decades with organizations & governments cursed with 'British spelt disease' and having also a British wife. I calculated once I had spent nearly fourteen days of my life adding or subtracting additional 'u''s to various words.

.......not to mention adding 'me' to program.

Somehow this is beginning to read more like a witness thread in R & P

It will never end markie must always try to create the illusion that there is a 'possibility' that Mills is right, hydrinos exist and it isn't all a scam.

That is his sole purpose.
