DOJ, FBI and Obama Gang"

His own federal agencies are seen as the enemy.

Shocking.

That's it then, Manafort is done. If he wants to avoid a very long time in jail, his options are narrowing rapidly to only one, roll over on Trump like Cohen is probably about to do.

I'll bet Dolt 45 can feel the jaws of the vice closing

I think Trump is starting to go absolutely crazy. He is striking out in all directions. Manafort is looking at decades behind bars and who knows what Cohen has on him.

Neither of those claims seem necessarily true.

Really? The whole point of an offer of immunity from prosecution is to get that person to offer up evidence or testimony against a third party. Can you come up with a scenario where prosecutors would grant immunity to someone who has no evidence against another person or who would not testify against them?

Ask James Comey.

The gaslighting really has gotten completely nuts, hasn't it? And some of the people repeating it, like Lindsay Graham, really do surprise me.

Actually I can. These are accountants. Granting them immunity gives them freedom to speak and interpret their work without worrying about recourse. The prosecutors probably wouldn't want hostile witnesses as they have to prove Manafort's intent. I believe I read that Manafort had more than 70 bank accounts. This is going to be a follow the money case. The prosecutors have to show a deliberate intent on Manafort's part to deceive.

It probably just makes it easier.

Yep, its called panic. Its what people with NPD often do when they are confronted with their flaws.

NPD sufferers require something called "narcissistic supply" (NS); a continuous stream of social approval and attention. They cannot control this need, or the anxiety that results when NS dries up. They absolutely must have this external feedback to regulate their fragile sense of self-worth, and because they have a low frustration threshold, the result of an absence of NS often results in them flying into rages and striking out at anything and anyone they perceive as starving them of their needs

How do I know this? Well, I lived for six years with a women who suffered from NPD; I recognize the patterns of behaviour. In the end, it got to be more than I could handle and I kicked her out. She had a complete meltdown shortly afterwards, and I predict that this is where Trump is heading.

Anyone who has lived with or knows someone with this disorder will recognize Trump's behaviour for what it is.

Manafort has good reason to fear for his and his family's safety if he starts talking about Russian money-flows. I think he'll choose to do the time.

I've been assuming the FBI has been moving people into witness protection in concert with the arrests.

I'm not sure that's necessarily true, either. Comey granted immunity to a few people in the email investigation, and we all know what came of that. I think it might be premature to count immunity grants as evidence of wrongdoing.

Ask James Comey.

I said Prosecutor. Comey wasn't a Prosecutor.

Investigators often trade off non-prosecution for evidence, even down to cops who will overlook a small time street dealer carrying a small amount of drugs to get them to give up evidence in a more serious crime.

What I am talking about is the situation when it comes to a trial of a person who is then offered immunity by the Prosecutor to roll over on a bigger fish.

"So we now find out that it was indeed the unverified and Fake Dirty Dossier, that was paid for by Crooked Hillary Clinton and the DNC, that was knowingly & falsely submitted to FISA and which was responsible for starting the totally conflicted and discredited Mueller Witch Hunt!"

"“It was classified to cover up misconduct by the FBI and the Justice Department in misleading the Court by using this Dossier in a dishonest way to gain a warrant to target the Trump Team. This is a Clinton Campaign document. It was a fraud and a hoax designed to target Trump...."

"....and the DOJ, FBI and Obama Gang need to be held to account. Source #1 was the major source. Avoided talking about it being the Clinton campaign behind it. Misled the Court to provide a pretext to SPY on the Trump Team. Not about Carter Page..was all about getting Trump....."

".....”Carter Page wasn’t a spy, wasn’t an agent of the Russians - he would have cooperated with the FBI. It was a fraud and a hoax designed to target Trump.” Tom Fitton @JudicialWatch A disgrace to America. They should drop the discredited Mueller Witch Hunt now!"

I didn't think I could detest this LSOS more than I did but I was wrong. He makes my skin crawl.

I get it about Nunes. Care to speculate why Lindsay Graham doubled down after the FISA warrant was released?

Fear of voter anger, possibly? Really, that's one I'm not too sure of, as much as I think his "maverick" persona, like that of McCain's, is wildly overrated.

I figure Trump's biggest supporters in congress are just profiteering off the madness, or might be criminally liable themselves, or might be funded by entities that are profiting or that will potentially be named. According to Opensecrets, these guys are Graham's biggest (traceable) funders. Makes you wonder what the FBI might find if they dug around in their financials...

It's been reported that Manafort is the one person that Trump is really worried about flipping.
