More from Mills on July 20:

A whole second before self destruction!

I'm not sure if that should be considered a success or a failure in a device designed to burn it self out in as flashy a manner as possible.

He appears to have a very low threshold for *run* in "a design that can run", when it kills itself in a second. That sounds an awful lot like "not running" in normal language:

"My car is great! It accelerates ferociously for about one second!"
"Oh? What happens then?"
"One or more pistons explode out the side of the block and take out the suspension towers and sometimes the master brake cylinder, from which point the car crashes into something nearby. Right up until that point, though, it runs *perfectly*."

Now before you criticise me being too harsh on Mills, you need to remember that he's not exploring the outer edge of physics or experimenting - he's trying to get it production-ready. He's said so many times....

Crikey! He really is a bit of a fruitloop, eh? It is amazing how many marks (pun intended) have been fooled by this shyster, eh? I'm guessing that some companies don't employ people with degrees in relevant subjects, yes?
However, fair play to the con artist! I wish him well. Anybody dumb enough to believe crap like he is turning out deserves to be fleeced. Nyet?

Da!

It's by design. It is the worlds first hydrino powered firework. Just you wait the next fourth of July, Mills will make millions Millions MILLIONS!!!1!!

You'd almost think that something other than hydrogen dropping below ground state could account for any "extra" energy...

No surprise here. God of the gaps to the rescue. From page 41 in the Report:

Dark Matter: The Hydrino® observed in nature

Given Mills history of using past tense instead of future tense in forward-looking statemnts, this disclaimer don't inspire confidence. (i.e. We have, instead of: We will.) From page 2 of the pdf:

I recently watched the Mythbusters series finale. I noticed something.

The Mythbusters are better at recording and reporting their experimental data than Mills. With the exceptions of the times they were deliberately censored when making explosives from scratch, their experiments are more replicable than those of Mills.

They also have the understanding that a negative result is still a valid result.

Under the heading Energetic Materials (page 28):

Greater than TNT: An explosives expert’s report is complete that
shows that the hydrino reaction blast parameters are ten times
better than those of TNT.

Just out of curiosity. Would such research be legal without a permit? And would such a permit be public?

Well, it is New Jersey. If Mills has the right connections he may be able to get blind eyes turned to a lot of things.

A vendor has been unable to deliver the required oscillation underthruster*.

*Where, unlike an oscillation overthruster, underthrusters and underthruster equipment and technology would have been around for centuries.

Of course it’s legal!

One does not need a permit to research hydrinos invisible pink unicorns ... :D

This was noted before that his equipment (depending on the particular manifestation of this illusion) either burns up, melts down, or explodes in any number of ways. Like all magic tricks, this is the smoke that obscures the real way the trick works.

Just always remember this from his presentation:
One goal is to prove our power source to the world in the
near term through power measurements, identification of
the hydrino products of the reaction, and engineered
power systems.

So there you have it stated plainly even by Mills. He hasn't even proven his hypotheses yet. Even Mills has no evidence of hydrinos yet and only hopes to identify hydrinos and products of the hydrino reaction and build functional power systems "in the near term".

As for in the now? Nada nothing zippo. Nothing but smoke and mirrors

Exactly
I believe most of us have stated this a year ago or more?

...but none of this matters markie is only interested in provoking the possibility. To do so he just needs to keep bringing up debunked stuff, crap science and other general stupidities - as long as it creates a false sense of 'possibility'.

With that the scam can continue.

So the deadline for the bet with Michael Suede must have passed by now, mustn't it? He's not posted in this thread for a long time, and not mentioned Mills or Brilliant Light Power on his website since September of last year.

More comments from Mills in response to a question about the time this is all taking and the possibility that something else unexpected won't come up to delay things further:

That comment boggles my mind. Give me thousands of experienced engineers, billions of dollars, and huge multinational company, national lab, and academic support. The project will be finished in about six months.

Oh, is that all he needs? Since he has orders of magnitude less than that to work with I suppose it will only take another hundred years or so.

Further:

I was responding to the baseless whining about the time to market for a new power system considering that we only have a handful of people. Even developing a new can opener product is big deal.

Given the engineering skills demonstrated so far, I agree that developing a working can opener would be a big deal for him.

Moreover, unlike fusion, we use safe fuel, produce no radioactive waste, generate billions of times the power density, and can use relatively simple inexpensive hardware.

Be careful with those forward looking statements!
