That "in my opinion" is so very un-Trumpian. Someone else must be managing his tweeting. I've felt that way for the past couple of weeks.Trump Tweets
"Twitter is getting rid of fake accounts at a record pace. Will that include the Failing New York Times and propaganda machine for Amazon, the Washington Post, who constantly quote anonymous sources that, in my opinion, don’t exist - They will both be out of business in 7 years!"

Why is he suddenly pulling his punches?
My Trump-supporting brother and I manage to have enjoyable conversations that don't involve politics.I can't see Trump supporters as anything other than idiots or racists or misogynists (or some combination of the three), and I'm sure they have similar labels for me. The difference is, I'm on the right side.
Yes, but they're subject to propaganda.Funny - they say exactly the same thing!

It's not just the "that in my opinion", but the fact that he separated the expression with commas, as someone influenced by a particular stylebook would do. It's TWG (this week's ghost), somewhat more literate than some of his others.

A resolution to encourage breast-feeding was expected to be approved quickly and easily by the hundreds of government delegates who gathered this spring in Geneva for the United Nations-affiliated World Health Assembly.
Based on decades of research, the resolution says that mother’s milk is healthiest for children and countries should strive to limit the inaccurate or misleading marketing of breast milk substitutes.
Then the United States delegation, embracing the interests of infant formula manufacturers, upended the deliberations.
American officials sought to water down the resolution by removing language that called on governments to “protect, promote and support breast-feeding” and another passage that called on policymakers to restrict the promotion of food products that many experts say can have deleterious effects on young children.
When that failed, they turned to threats, according to diplomats and government officials who took part in the discussions. Ecuador, which had planned to introduce the measure, was the first to find itself in the cross hairs.
The Americans were blunt: If Ecuador refused to drop the resolution, Washington would unleash punishing trade measures and withdraw crucial military aid. The Ecuadorean government quickly acquiesced.
Health advocates scrambled to find another sponsor for the resolution, but at least a dozen countries, most of them poor nations in Africa and Latin America, backed off, citing fears of retaliation, according to officials from Uruguay, Mexico and the United States.
“What happened was tantamount to blackmail, with the U.S. holding the world hostage and trying to overturn nearly 40 years of consensus on best way to protect infant and young child health,” she said.
In the end, the Americans’ efforts were mostly unsuccessful. It was the Russians who ultimately stepped in to introduce the measure — and the Americans did not threaten them.
US delegates used threats against countries supporting a World Health Agency resolution supporting breast feeding and limiting misleading advertising by formula manufacturers.
But someone stepped in to resist American blackmail and be the hero on the international stage.

The Americans also sought, unsuccessfully, to thwart a W.H.O. effort aimed at helping poor countries obtain access to lifesaving medicines. Washington, supporting the pharmaceutical industry, has long resisted calls to modify patent laws as a way of increasing drug availability in the developing world, but health advocates say the Trump administration has ratcheted up its opposition to such efforts.

The Federal government has dropped the remaining 39 criminal complaints against Trump-inauguration-day protesters that had been arrested, allegedly for rioting.
Although the court motion does not explain why, the reason the government is dropping the charges is because while they managed to get several guilty pleas in pre-trial situations, none of the cases that have actually been brought to trial so far has resulted in a guilty finding.
I don't know if any number of the trial cases involved juries; although if they did, this would seem to be a case of jury nullification.
You had me fooled (about the meeting, I knew about the death).Trump Tweets:
"Woman in England passes away due to Russian chemical weapon attack on British soil... Terrible! Canceling summit with Putin until we have more information"
just kidding!
Yea, trump will no doubt praise Putin for keeping the body count down
Nor would I ever have predicted people like George Will and Max Boot would support the Democrats.
And I never thought people like me would end up rooting for the Democrats.
