Cont: Breaking: Mueller Grand Jury charges filed, arrests as soon as Monday pt 2

You're in denial. It's obvious Mueller isn't ready. If he was ready, he wouldn't ask for a delay. That is the entire point of asking for a delay: to get more time to get ready. It doesn't take any special powers to recognize this, nor is it any sort of conspiracy theory. It's all quite ordinary, and quite obvious.

and this because absolutely clear when one takes a look at the fact that the motion was totally frivolous.

The efforts to send the summons was following protocol. But the entire point of that protocol is to ensure the defendant's right to a proper legal defense. When the defense doesn't want a delay, asking for one on their behalf is not strictly following protocol. There is no protocol that requires Mueller to request a delay. It's an excuse, a transparent one that the judge wasn't buying, and with good reason.

and this because absolutely clear when one takes a look at the fact that the motion was totally frivolous.

Awesome, I love getting educated by you slick internet lawyers. The defense didn't want a delay because they wanted to hand all of the evidence over to the Russians, that's why they were pushing so hard to move ahead. That's *********** obvious to anyone that isn't trying their very best to defend both Putin and Trump. It's clear as day, and even hinted at in the article Zigg posted.

The only thing you're right about is that Mueller was delaying giving the information over because he didn't want his investigation compromised.

You're not getting educated (something you refuse to do), you're getting schooled.

The defense didn't want a delay because they wanted to hand all of the evidence over to the Russians, that's why they were pushing so hard to move ahead.

The defense may very well want all that evidence to give to Putin, but it doesn't explain their desire for a speedy trial.

The only thing you're right about is that Mueller was delaying giving the information over because he didn't want his investigation compromised.

That explains his delay in turning over evidence, but it doesn't explain his delaying the case in general. Even Mueller's lame excuse for asking to delay the trial has nothing to do with turning over evidence.

What am I basing it on? Oh, just public reporting on the case. For example:
https://www.politico.com/story/2018/05/04/mueller-russia-interference-election-case-delay-570627
This is separate from the evidence sharing issue (I never claimed they were the same), but it's quite real.

Will you retract your allegations against me?

From your Politico link:
Friedrich, a Trump appointee based in Washington, sided with Concord and said the arraignment will proceed as scheduled Wednesday afternoon.
The Mueller side should ask for a new judge but that's a separate issue.

Regardless, that article is from May 5th and a 90 day delay was since granted.

Daily Caller: It was been updated to reflect the request was a joint-filing with the defendant, and was for a 90-day delay. Since original publication, the court has granted the request.
“This case also warrants a continuance and exclusion of time to accommodate the voluminous discovery at issue and to allow sufficient time for the Court to resolve certain outstanding procedural issues unique to discovery in this case,” he continued.

Battle of wits:
Dubelier has repeatedly notified the court he would insist on using “discovery” to review the “evidence” the special counsel had accumulated about their charge of Russian collusion. His use of discovery would compel Mueller to turn over the U.S. intelligence about Russian activities.

In response, Mueller informed the court on May 16 his office was prepared to enter two terabytes of Russian social media into the record, thereby flooding the docket with a huge amount of evidence, all of it in Russian. The volume could fill 3,000 CD-ROM discs.

Of course there is the alt-white side claiming Mueller screwed up flooding the internet: American Thinker: Mueller caught in a trap of his own making. And you have this crap: TeaParty: HAH! Trump-Appointed Judge REJECTS Dirty Cop Mueller’s Request For Delay in Junk Russian Bot Case. So it's no surprise the alt-right would be repeating this narrative.

There's so much alt-right net flooding, it's hard to find any unbiased reports on the case. But it doesn't look to me to be the great coup the alt-right wants to believe it is.

Danth's Law in action, folks.

Yes, it does. Anyone worth their weight in potato peelings knows that the best way to get information is to put pressure on, and get everything done as quick as possible. When you do that there is a higher chance your opposing side will make a mistake, or give up something they normally wouldn't since they're in a rush. It's one of the oldest tricks. Maybe you should go back to school, any school. I'm a networker and I know that.

See SG's post. You apparently haven't kept up to date. Your woo needs an upgrade.

You seem to be arguing that the defense is trying to rush to trial before Mueller is ready.

Nope, just that they are trying to rush Mueller in general. I have no idea why they showed up without responding to the summons, and then said, "we want to get this going." It's pretty apparent from most available information that there is a lot of concern that these attorneys would like to pass the information on the Russian's.

In any case, as the motion was eventually granted, and it appears that Mueller had 2 TB worth of data ready to go. Let them slow walk through the 2 TB of data.

Let's assume that this is the reason the defense didn't want a delay (although it's ironic that now you can read minds). How does that change anything about what I said? Well, it doesn't. Not at all. Mueller should have been prepared for a speedy trial before he pushed the indictment. He should have been prepared for the defense to try to make him rush. If he wasn't prepared for that, then he wasn't ready.

So you haven't in any way contradicted my claim. In fact, your statement that "It's one of the oldest tricks" merely reinforces that Mueller should have been prepared for a speedy trial. You haven't contradicted my claim, you've supported it. This is an actual self-own.

If you aren't suffering from recto-cranial inversion, that is.

The kind of obvious where the article you link as supporting evidence says no such thing but you keep asserting it's true anyway because you say it is.

The best kind of obvious!

Sure. Because now the defense is asking for it too. But it was still stupid to go to trial without being ready to proceed without a delay, because you shouldn't ever count on your opponent doing what you want them to do.

I never claimed it was a great coup. But it was still a screw-up, even if Mueller recovers from it.

It's a special kind of mind that can't understand something if someone doesn't explicitly tell them.

He had two terabytes of data ready to go. You seem to miss that for some reason. Sounds like he was ready to go.

Despite TBD's latest complaining about there being too much data (which is at odds with your claiming they weren't ready) that's evidence that was ready to go.

Mueller threatened to do a document dump of two terabits of largely irrelevant material in order to overwhelm the defense.

Oy vey

Court Awards Sanctions for Discovery Violations, Including Document Dump

civil case, but get the picture
That link doesn't support a single damn thing you just said. None of it.

That is referring to undocumented email servers that the team had no idea what was contained on them. So it was a smoke screen. Mueller knew what all of the data was and had it catalogued. Your lack of computer knowledge shows again.

ETA: Oh, learn the difference between bits and bytes as well. They aren't the same.

If you needed someone to explicitly tell you the definitions of words like obvious, evidence, and opinion you should have just asked.

Oh my word, shifting with the wind is just what Trump does.

And you don't know it was a screw-up. The evidence says it was anticipated.

As for your claims, I said, " the alt-right wants to believe."

I can think of many reasons why Mueller would want to be scrupulous in following protocol, not the least of which would be to ensure that there are no legal reasons to hamper him in any way.

"Catalogued." Odd that is not what Jeannie Rhee said, and given that they had not translated it all, the claim it was catalogued is a lie.

"I said, 'How do you know what's in it?' " Dubelier told the judge, referring to the massive amount of online data in Russian. "They didn't want to talk to me anymore."

Pure data dump, oldest trick in the book.

Two terabytes of unsorted data is not an indication of "ready to go". It's a document dump, those are easy to produce.

And you keep ignoring his request for a delay. That isn't ready to go.

That would be a motive to accept a defense request for a delay. It isn't a reason to make one unilaterally when the defense doesn't want one.
