Trump tweeted
I rely on your updates as to Trump tweets rather than seeking them out, but doesn't he seem a little ... unsettled these days? He does not sound quite so complacent to me. A little whine with his gloat. Or something different I can't quite put my finger on.

Don't you think he looks tired?

If the Republicans win in November, get a rifle and learn how to use it.
For me personally leaving might be a better option. It's actually kind of feasible. At present I have obligations though.

Don't think I'm going to bring down tyranny by plinking at it.

Add another scotus nominee and perhaps two before Trump is out of office and you've got that court locked up for generations.

Elections do indeed have consequences.
Given the fact that:

1) I doubt any of the liberal Justices will be resigning any time soon. (Given the crap the republicans pulled on Obama, they will probably arrange to stay on the court even if they die... "Supreme court Justices Zombie Ginsberg" anybody? I can certainly see them not wanting to reward the republicans with any more court seats.)

2) The Republicans invoked the 'nuclear' option, to make it easier to confirm supreme court justices

3) There is a chance that the political pendulum will swing the other way, and the Democrats could end up taking the white house in 2020, as well as the senate. (Remember, Trump's personal popularity is stuck at around 40% and given the fact that there aren't many more racists around, he may have a hard time winning re-election.)

There is a very good chance that this could all backfire on the republicans. Imagine the type of supreme court nominations someone like Pelosi or Sanders could make now that the republicans have called off any rules of decorum.

Where would you go?

All the other countries in the world are looking at the U.S., with the huge number of racist trump supporters, gun rights nuts and various criminals, and saying "We must protect our border from the infestation of vermin from the United States". If you cross the border into Canada, we will take your children from you and have you deported without trial.

Then there is also that if Democracy in the US goes down, it becomes an endangered species in a number of other countries.

And there is also the fact the number of justices on the supreme court is decided by congress;if a conservative court is obiviously being obstructionists A democratic congress could create a number of new justices.
I would hate to see it come to that because of the possibility of abuse, but if the Supreme Court has become politicized, then you fight fire with fire.

Trump is going ahead full throlltle on a summit with Putin,no doubt to, behind closed doors, to kiss Putin's ring and get his orders.

Except it specifically doesn't discriminate against a religious group.
Which is the issue now, isn't it.

Trump said during the election he wanted a "Muslim ban". He told Guilliani to help him implement a "Muslim ban".

So the supreme court (at least one member that was picked under shady circumstances) decided "You know, we're not going to pay attention to what people said". So much for evidence.

Anyone who isn't a racist recognizes that the muslim ban was based on religion.
