Nationalism and Jingoism is not the same thing as Patriotism. I am quite sure most of American posters in this thread are Patriots, but not in same dumb way you perceive it.

American Bridge was kind enough to play the audio recording of crying children outside of Trump Hotel during a fundraiser.

Sec Neilsen is protested and forced to leave a Mexican restaurant. She can't get too upset, the less food she ate there, the less likely she was to be served expired meat, rat poison, and the like.

It's particularly amusing when you remember that one of things about Trump that supposedly appealed to his supporters was that he was an "outsider" and would "shake things up".

But they aren't new, at all. The mistake is in claiming that Clinton or Obama did them. This is more of an Andrew Jackson, Woodrow Wilson style of white nationalism, the sort of thing Adolf Hitler studied when coming up with the Holocaust.

(So actually, the "He's like Hitler" analogy is also backwards.)

And I note the important word "solely" in it. Either way, there was a reason that family detention centers were set up. It might be inconceivable to you that others who strongly oppose child separation would prefer for them to be used for the purpose that they were made, rather than just ignoring them and taking away kids from their parents automatically.
