Over the orange moron? ABSOLUTELY! I don't support his position on vaccines, but I don't support Trump on anything. He's a gelatinous mass of talking incoherent fecal matter that should be flushed as soon as possible.

Speaking of hypocrisy, some who criticize Trump for calling gang members “animals”, then go on to include diatribes like the above when referring to him.

I’ve said it before: name calling may help someone “vent”, but adds nothing to a discussion. One can express ones dissatisfaction in a more reasoned and pointed way by eliminating such attacks.

Neither does calling people 'punchy', lying Ted, Fat Cuomo and the thousands of names Trump calls everyone.

Why isn't turnabout fair play? Take a vote on which you prefer. Trump the dump, Trump the turd. The Sleazy pumpkin, The porn star porker. Scummy Trump. Give me some input. I need help to come up with the best nickname.

Eh, Tesla is, as you say, venting a bit. Overall, his commentary is reasonable.

But I must say that it's one thing to refer to a single person as a turd and another to refer to a group of persons as animals. The latter seems more dehumanizing to me. In exactly the same way, Roseanne would have committed a greater offense had she referred to all (or a group) of African Americans as apes, rather than one. One is bad, but dehumanizing a group is more effective and hence more offensive.

(Similarly, calling Ivanka a **** is not as bad as calling, say, NOW or DAR a bunch of *****, and not just because of the numbers involved.)

Final point: a guy like Tesla can vent in offensive manners, and a guy like Trump can do the same. Which of the two is more troubling? Tesla is (no offense) a nobody, far as I can tell.

Nah. It doesn't really help.

First, you're not in a position to direct the general opinion like Trump can and second, you're probably better than he. Most folks are.

In my entire life, I have NEVER referred to a President or even another human being as I have with Trump.

But that is because I have never encountered such a disrespectful, deceitful human being much less a President. From the first day of his campaign, he has carried himself as simply despicable. The idea that this man entirely devoid of integrity, honor or compassion could be the President of the United States is sickening.

My country and its laws while never perfect has been reasonably honorable, but with Trump it is sadly gone.

I see NOTHING wrong with comparing Trump to fecal matter. In fact, I'm sure the crap does more good for the earth than Trump has done for it.

When someone becomes dehumanized, all things are possible. I struggle to think of any that are good in the expansion of possibilities.

If enough of the electorate sees Trump as less than human they won't vote for him. If he feels hated, mocked, humiliated he may even decide he no longer wants to be president. Either outcome is a positive for the country.

I just finished binge watching the John Adams miniseries having read David McCullough's biography years ago and now in the middle of The Federalist Papers, which I last looked at in College.. When you read the words of Adams, Jefferson, Madison and Hamilton you stand in awe of these great and imperfect men. When I read anything Trump has written or said, I weep at what is to become of this great union.
