What's funny about the review process?

I certainly don't know what Kardashian said. I assume that she gave an argument. But the point remains that she got in because she was a celebrity.

There are other pardons he’s recently done that we’re fully justified, like pardoning the political prisoner Dinesh D’Souza.

He broke the law. He wasn't punished for his views but for the fact that his donation was illegal.

I'm not going to bother to see if this has been pointed out, but Dolt 45's stated policy on drug dealers is "Kill them!!!", so it's also at odds with that.

People can tell themselves stories about how "compassionate" he is (he is not, at all), but this combines celebrity, an attempt to show that he's not a racist (he's still a white supremacist), and his love of displays of power.

Basically, he's the same dimwitted bag of slime he's always been.

Heavens no.
I was actually reading up on Kaiser Wilhelm and the parallels are amazing in number and accuracy with Trump. It's basically the same person, which is why its so frustrating with the sycophants of his. All of this stuff has been played out before, many times. They're just too scared to admit it.

This is all about his ego. He just said he's thinking about pardoning Muhammad Ali. Problem is, Ali's conviction was overturned by the Supreme Court in 1971. The man is an idiot.

He hosted an iftar dinner the other night and may have been urged to pardon Ali because his guests didn't understand the situation. I'm OK with him on this, he should have done his homework but he may have been listening to what the Muslims were trying to tell him. Not a bad thing IMO.
 
If there's anyone who genuinely believes that the pardoning is for reasons any other than (1) setting the stage for Trump team pardons and (2) self-aggrandizement for King Trump, I've got some proverbial swamp land to sell.

Funny how all the pardons, actual and rumored, involve celebrities.

If you watched his statement, he actually gave pretty solid reasoning by his standards for saying that Russia should be back in the group:
Russia should be here because they threw Russia out and Russia should be here.

Don't know that - pure speculation. And, in my view, it doesn't matter. He issues a pardon because someone asked him to the other night? Either way it's a poor way to show leadership. I don't give him a pass on this.

There are approximately 2100 people who have pardon applications waiting. He and his republican buddies are all about following the rules of law, right? Like immigrants - you can come in legally but get in line.

Maybe, maybe not.

Trump does have an authoritarian streak, and certainly fits the "racist demagogue". But, he is also incompetent and lazy. He certainly benefitted from the echo chamber of Fox News, Russian assistance, a republican party that had been doing a smear job on his opponents, and just really dumb luck (e.g. having a republican 'clown car' primary with over a dozen participants where it was easy to stand out.)

Granted, the Nazis themselves weren't that competent, but I think even they would look at Trump, see how incapable he really is, and get rid of him.

Was this the iftar dinner that Trump hosted where there were no AMERICAN Muslims invited? (The guests were predominately diplomats from muslim-majority countries.)

So what you're saying is that Trump is listening... if you're a foreigner.

Agreed, but he’s are idiot and he’s doing everything we want. He’s obliterating the lefts agenda, I’m certainly going to cheer him on.
