Roseanne Barr off the air

I'm sure Trump supporters will cry that the network was "looking for an excuse." As if advertisers and executives wouldn't come under fire. This was a business decision.
 
Roseanne has also vowed to quit Twitter.

A better suggestion would be for her to quit being racist.

But yeah, blame Twitter for it.

And ABC will keep all of that tainted racist money that advertisers paid. And those companies that advertised on her show will probably all make large donations to assuage their guilt.

ABC wanted to showcase the average Trump voter. It seems like they got what they wanted.

I don't know. Why was she having one with Chelsea Clinton? Why was she repeating classic right wing CT lies about George Soros? Why does any right wing nut repeat any of the nonsense they do?

The thing is that her mindless idiocy has cost hundreds of people -- actors, technicians, administrators -- their jobs overnight in an industry where finding another one won't be so easy. She obviously thought that in the age of Trump -- who has praised her effusively -- blatant racism would carry no consequences.

She killed it so dead that other networks won't even think about picking it up.
