Because it is oversight.
Evidence that this is what oversight means?
Because it is oversight.
Why? YOU already posted it.
I mean, you do read the things you post, right?
Lol
Where did I post the quote squeegee was referring to?
Sad.
Sad? What kind of response is that?
Go ahead and quote my post where I posted the quote squeegee is referring to.
...my wife and I were handed free copies of Dershowitz’s newest book, “Trumped Up: How Criminalization of Political Differences Endangers Democracy,” in which Dershowitz writes that special prosecutor Robert Mueller is subjecting Trump to “the legal equivalent of a colonoscopy.”
Why don’t you post it instead!![]()
I already did.
You posted the article. If you're actually interested in what it said, the onus is on you to read it.
Melanie Sloan, a former Clinton Justice Department lawyer and longtime ethics watchdog, told me a “far more significant issue” is whether the earlier FBI operation was even legal: “It’s possible the bureau’s arrangement with Mr. Deripaska violated the Antideficiency Act, which prohibits the government from accepting voluntary services.”
Beren seems to think I posted a quote.
It's today bizzaro day? Why? YOU already posted it.

It's today bizzaro day?
Remnick asked Warner whether he believes members of the campaign directly coordinated with Russians or, instead, whether Trump associates who met with Russians were merely “duped.”
“This may all be simply a set of coincidences or it may be … it was not the sophistication to realize what was happening,” said Warner.
Yes I know.
Beren seems to think I posted a quote.
Senator Warner talked about coincidences. He amazingly doesn’t say anything about them being played. You’re making things up again.
Ding Ding!
Nothing about being played.
Or maybe he chose the analogy on purpose, to evoke the image of something painful, while at the same time keeping the ambiguity if he meant the interpretation you gave. He's a lawyer after all.https://www.politico.com/magazine/story/2018/05/11/alan-dershowitz-donald-trump-what-happened-218359
Apparently Alan Dershowitz doesn't know that colonoscopies are supposed to be good for you.
Or maybe he really means what he is saying (he is a lawyer after all) and he's suggesting the Trump White House has cancer and Mueller's investigation is threatening to clear that up.
Manafort is facing a separate indictment out of Mueller's investigation in the US District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia. US District Judge TS Ellis III heard arguments on Manafort's motion to dismiss those charges earlier this month — he repeatedly pressed the lawyer arguing for Mueller's office to explain how Manafort's case related to the Russia probe — but he has not ruled yet.
In the DC case, Manafort is facing charges of conspiring to defraud the United States by failing to report foreign financial accounts, conspiring to commit money laundering, failing to register as an agent for a foreign entity, and making false statements about his work in Ukraine. He was originally charged along with his longtime associate and former deputy campaign chairman Rick Gates, but Gates took a plea deal earlier this year and is cooperating with Mueller's office.
Jackson has yet to rule on Manafort's motions to suppress evidence that investigators seized from a storage unit and his home in Virginia. Similar motions are pending before Ellis in Virginia, as well as a motion filedby Manafort that Ellis hold a hearing to figure out who has been leaking nonpublic information about his case to the media. Both judges are scheduled to hear arguments next week.
In DC Manafort motion to dismiss denied by judge despite judge comments in Virginia District court to prosecutors. Virginia motion is still pending.
A Judge Just Denied Paul Manafort's Motion To Dismiss The Indictment Against Him In DC - The judge rejected Manafort's challenge to special counsel Robert Mueller's appointment.
