Why would Trump himself make that deal? For what, the emails were already coming out and everyone knew it.

He isn't an example at all. This was about the decorum of political officials.

As for Maxine waters, as I have no particular reason to pay attention to her, you will have to provide quotes.

Which led to comments of trump and their appropriateness. You responded by saying it was what the left does. But the defense from the left is that their politicians don't talk like Trump.

Trumpis responding to the left bob, that you don’t get that is not my problem. Besides there are plenty in congress on trumps level. But you didn’t know any of them. :rolleyes:

I have to agree with this. But first off, they'd just be kicked out of the press room leaving only Fox News reporters there. And second, can you imagine Suckabee and the reporters in a 'you lie' no 'you lie' no 'you lie' feedback loop?

MSNBC and CNN do call out the falsehoods when reporting on the press briefing. Fox amplifies the lies calling them truths.

The meeting was in June 2016. Podesta's emails weren't released until months later.

Trump himself might not have made the deal, but Bannon seems convinced those Russians Don Jr met with would have been walked up to Trump. It's hard to imagine they wouldn't have been.

Wikileaks released them, but I'm not seeing the relevance here. Trump Jr's meeting was long before they were released, but AFTER the DNC hacking. Ergo, it's not impossible they were discussing a quid-pro-quo for "dirt" they knew existed and knew the Russians had gotten from the DNC.

Based on Trump crafting a lie about the meeting being about adoption, and denying meeting with the Russians (which Bannon claims there is zero chance Trump didn't meet with them), and Don Jr's own admission the meeting was about "dirt on Clinton", I think it entirely possible they were negotiating the details of a quid-pro-quo for that dirt.

And again, I know exactly what you would be thinking had the whole thing involved Chelsea Clinton, a Kremlin-based lawyer, and the Russian hacking of Reince Preibus. You can't deny (honestly, at least) that this looks extremely suspicious.
