And I'll note that nobody came up with a single example of him even attempting to help any non-white community - and again, simply being around as unemployment continues a long decline that he has nothing to do with doesn't count.

He threw some paper towels at Puerto Ricans.

Obviously not a pattern in his company, but the dishonest left slaps the label on him. It’s just ridiculous!

I think Clintons is much worse.

Can you imagine Trump have a segregationist racist mentor.

Mentor? Like his dad, for example? Perhaps Roy Cohn?

Do you have to use those gif things?

They add nothing to the conversation and they are very annoying.

Trump springs to the defence of the Doc

"Allegations made by Senator Jon Tester against Admiral/Doctor Ron Jackson are proving false. The Secret Service is unable to confirm (in fact they deny) any of the phony Democrat charges which have absolutely devastated the wonderful Jackson family. Tester should resign. The....."

"....great people of Montana will not stand for this kind of slander when talking of a great human being. Admiral Jackson is the kind of man that those in Montana would most respect and admire, and now, for no reason whatsoever, his reputation has been shattered. Not fair, Tester!"

"Secret Service has just informed me that Senator Jon Tester’s statements on Admiral Jackson are not true. There were no such findings. A horrible thing that we in D.C. must live with, just like phony Russian Collusion. Tester should lose race in Montana. Very dishonest and sick!"

It was hilarious. :sdl:

Sorry you didn't get the jokes. I mean that.

Please don’t feel sorry for me.

Humor is very subjective. Over the years I have found humor in some really outrageous, vile, disgusting and sacrilegious things.

I watched the performance last night expecting to be entertained - I wasn’t.

People who were there said it started on a high note and devolved quickly. When it got overtly personal and mean, there was a lot of groaning and, to hear them tell it and even worse for a comedian, near silence.

I do not like what Sarah Sanders does or represents. But “fat shaming” her in her presence was inappropriate and worse, not funny. It made me feel sorry for her, which beforehand I thought would be hard to do. The fact that Trump does it does not make it OK - it’s another sign of the overall lowering of standards his actions have brought about.

In another venue maybe her abortion jokes bring down the house. They didn’t here, and again, folks who were there reported that part as “cringe-worthy”.

But I’m glad you found her routine hilarious. I didn’t, but there’s no accounting for taste.

Odd that Trump assumes the Secret Service produced a report about the incident. They could have simply guided the doc back to his room and told him to sleep it off.

The Dunce is calling Senator Jon Tester a liar and mentally ill? How dirtbag of him. What the Dumpster avoids is, of course, Tester didn't make these charges but were told of them by people in the military.
Tester said the committee has spoken to some 20 retired and active members of the military about Jackson. On Tuesday, Tester told CNN's Anderson Cooper that others who have come forward alleged that Jackson would hand out prescriptions "like candy" on overseas trips, distributing Ambien and Provigil down the aisle of the airplane. Link

As for the reaction in Montana, it seems to be pretty much in support of their senator, at least among veterans. This is from a story published on a local news site in the state on Thursday:
Several Montana veterans on Thursday defended Sen. Jon Tester’s push to fully vet Rear Adm. Ronny Jackson, who withdrew his nomination to become secretary of Veterans Affairs. President Donald Trump added to the mix by targeting Tester, saying he should “have a big price to pay” with voters this November for the part he played in questioning Jackson’s qualifications and allegations of misconduct.

But a group of Montana veterans said not so fast. They gathered outside Tester’s office in downtown Missoula on Thursday afternoon to say Montana’s senior senator did the right thing by looking into Jackson’s past. Link

Trump is such a complete dirtbag. Tester is a senior member of the Senate's Veteran Affairs Committee. In vetting Rear Admiral Ronny Jackson, people in the military come forward with allegations that Jackson's prior behavior makes him unsuitable to be a secretary of Veteran Affairs. Tester says he intends to investigate. The Dunce reacts by calling Tester a liar and mentally ill.

Once a dirtbag always a dirtbag. What a nightmare.

Donald Trump has again criticised the new home of the US embassy in London, describing the south London location as "lousy" and "horrible".

Speaking at a rally in Michigan, the president said: "In the UK, in London, we had the best site in all of London. The best site. Well, some genius said: 'We're gonna sell the site and then we're going to take the money and build a new embassy.' That sounds good, right, but you've got to have money left over if you do that, right?"

He added: "By the way, they wanted me to cut the ribbon on the embassy and I said: 'I'm not going. I don't wanna do it.'"

It was a Roast. What were they expecting?

Personally I don't like them or think they are funny.

The motto of a roast is you only roast the ones you love.

Reading my favorite liberal forums today, they seem to want Trump to attend these to have a venue for directing their ire. They are happy with the level of odium in the jokes. In that sense, it is against the spirit of a roast.

Because they’re like children. What kind of tantrum will they throw if they don’t get him.

It's good that Trump the genius sure knows more about everything than anyone else. Period.

Wolf went after Conway and Sanders for being professional liars who support a pathological liar who is doing a great deal of damage to our democratic institutions like the free press and the judicial system. I remember when Rush went after Chelsey Clinton with insulting and derogatory remarks for no reason other than he is an *******, and the right ridiculed anyone who complained about his "comedy" as being overly sensitive. And Rush was the "unofficial head of the Republican Party" at the time, according to Newt Gingrich, not some barely known actual comic.

(Before anyone labels that a tu quoque, which is very often inappropriately done here, that logical fallacy is an argument of the form, "You are a hypocrite, therefore you are wrong." That's not the same thing as, "You are a world class hypocrite and your mock outrage is beyond laughable, therefore I really, really don't care what you think.")

Lol

Remaking the judicial system and might as well throw in the biased press too, is a great thing for our country and we’re having fun doing it.
