I have said exactly that. Trump says he doesn't have investments in Russia but there is a lot of money from there in his businesses. That of course may mean nothing. But Trump doesn't have an ethical bone in his body so I could see him doing anything and everything. It also wouldn't surprise me that Russian hookers entertained him. IIRC Trump said he was offered prostitutes while he was there but turned it down. Now does that sound like Trump? I mean really? This guy hangs around in women's dressing rooms as live porn.

This guy is a compulsive in every way with ZERO self control.

An investigation by Reuters found that at least 63 individuals with Russian passports or addresses have bought at least $98.4 million worth of property in the seven Trump-branded luxury towers. And that was a conservative estimate. At least 703 – or about one-third – of the 2044 units were owned by limited liability companies, or LLCs, which could conceal the property's true owner. Executives from Gazprom and other Russian natural resource giants also owned units in Trump's Sunny Isles towers. In an observation that several people I spoke with echoed, Kenneth McCallion, a former prosecutor who tracked the flows of Russian criminal money into Trump's properties, told me, "Trump's genius – or evil genius – was, instead of Russian criminal money being passive, incidental income, it became a central part of his business plan." McCallion continued, "It's not called 'Little Moscow' for nothing. The street signs are in Russian. But his towers there were built specifically for the Russian middle-class criminal."

To be fair, we don't know the evidence yet. The dog is too quick to claim it's false, but let's not be too quick to claim it's true.

Nah. Wouldn't faze him. He would go there without ever doubting that he had done nothing wrong and was being ill-treated by vicious detractors with ulterior motives.

And his supporters would believe him.

And in fact, when I decided to just do it, I said to myself — I said, you know, this Russia thing with Trump and Russia is a made-up story. It's an excuse by the Democrats for having lost an election that they should've won.

One would be high treason, the other wouldn't. He couldn't get impeached for merely being negligent or naive, but I'd bet you if he was found guilty of treason his biggest die hard supporters would turn quiet.

By having Trump in their sights this whole time during the course of the investigation and not allowing Mueller to just do his job quietly, Trump opponents are setting themselves up for failure. They'll be rubbing it in Democrat faces when they find nothing personally on Trump.

I view this as nonsense. The Democrats have hardly been arguing that Trump is guilty of collusion with the Russians. They have just said that Mueller should be allowed to follow the evidence where it may follow.

Fair point on the treason issue. However, he can indeed be impeached and removed from office for negligence. Besides being a political process, many forms of negligence are indeed criminal.

First, we already have obstruction on Trump. The issue you bring up is with some of the Democratic base, but the Democrats themselves have actually been pretty good about arguing for the Mueller to do the job without just sitting their sights on Trump. This is very advantageous because it's looking more and more like the RNC is in hot water itself. In addition, there have already been charges and guilty pleas, on people who you will note are not Trump.

I don't see this backfiring if for no other reason than it doesn't matter to most remaining Republicans what the fact or truth is; they'll be 'rubbing it in our face' regardless of that most unimportant nuance that is reality.

The media frenzy doesn't help at all, following every little lead, no matter the red herring potential, branching into jokes about Moscow hookers and his alleged relationship with Putin himself. Tell a joke enough times and it starts sounding like the truth.

"The decision to voluntarily discontinue these cases was a difficult one," Cohen's attorney David Schwartz said. "We believe the defendants defamed my client, and vindicating Mr. Cohen’s rights was — and still remains — important. But given the events that have unfolded, and the time, attention, and resources needed to prosecute these matters, we have dismissed the matters, despite their merits."
