Stormy Daniels Sues the President

But the baby itself must be very valuable. An illegitimate Trump baby has to be worth millions. Hundreds of millions.

A 'post-election favor' doesn't have to be a government job. And in this administration a government job might not be that much of a favor.

Agreed. If he promised Cohen a government consulting or a military contract would it constitute a bribe. But a job with the Republican party is a private job. The government has nothing to do with it. So it cannot be an illegal bribe.

Fantasy of what may have happened or a storyline for a silly cartoon...

TRUMP WINS THE ELECTION

Cohen: Congratulations Donald.
Trump: Thank you.
Cohen: You never would have won without me.
Trump: How is that?...

Stormy Daniels.
What about her?
I shut her mouth for you.
Really? Wow, I never would have won if she started blabbing. What did you do?
I paid her out of my own pocket.
Wow, awesome. Thank you! How much did you give her?
I gave her $260,000....

I miss this optimism and word-smithery.

That TBD had no idea how many basic things he would have to explain at a granular level only to be met with packs of laughing dogs.

Oh well, I do it for that one plucky kid who thirsts for knowledge like Stormy's lawyer thirsts for attention.

At least you got some reply. That should stoke your creative fires.

The story about John Edwards baby was worth millions in the end to the Enquirer. But if you're negotiating with a doorman, you're going to lowball to start. $30,000 to this guy is one hell of a lot of money. I bet they offered him far less than $30K to start and he thought he hit the jackpot when they gave him the check.

Yes, it's very hard to believe any reasonable person would have continued to read all of The Big Dog's numerous explanations.

Indeed. The Stormy Daniels matter is quite interesting but I find that The Big Dog has so polluted this thread that I cannot continue to follow it. I'll unsubscribe after this post. SAD!

Lawyers for Cohen and the adult entertainer, Stormy Daniels, submitted a joint pleading to a federal judge in Los Angeles on Thursday indicating Cohen's plan to seek a stay of the lawsuit, which Daniels filed in a bid to have the alleged agreement declared null and void.

"Defendants intend to file an ex parte application to stay this action on the grounds that an ongoing criminal investigation overlaps with the facts of this case, and implicates defendant Michael Cohen’s Fifth Amendment rights," the filing said.

"The mob takes the Fifth Amendment. If you’re innocent why are you taking the Fifth Amendment?” - DJT

"I'm going to need to plead the 5th" - Cohen, probably

President Trump’s personal attorney Michael D. Cohen sometimes taped conversations with associates, according to three people familiar with his practice, and allies of the president are worried that the recordings were seized by federal investigators in a raid of Cohen’s office and residences this week.
...
“We heard he had some proclivity to make tapes,” said one Trump adviser, who spoke on the condition of anonymity because of the ongoing investigation. “Now we are wondering, who did he tape? Did he store those someplace where they were actually seized? . . . Did they find his recordings?”

"Lordy, I hope there are tapes" - James Comey

We're dealing with a skewed subset of the larger population of fixers -- those who have fallen under public scrutiny.

Right, but if your fix can not suffer public scrutiny is it really a fix?

That would be like me securing a contract for a client that wouldn't hold up in court. What's the point?

Oh wait, bad analogy, that is exactly what we are watching, not similar to.

"WSJ: Trump’s personal lawyer negotiated a deal in late 2017 to pay $1.6 million to a former Playboy model who said she was impregnated by RNC deputy finance chairman Elliott Broidy"

Is the material from the Cohen raids being leaked already?

The NY FBI field office retained secrets as well as a sieve during the 2016 election so I wouldn't rule it out.

Playboy Playmate got pregnant. The father is an ugly fat guy. What a world. That story should be told to all little boys.
