If we think presidential policy matters (we don't) then it would have to be the president that put the policies in place before the growth occurred.

And the actions that Trump took between January and April that caused the economy to pick up were?

The Trump porn star story will probably not amount to much. Lots of people that already hate Trump will be rightly outraged. But Trump's core will see it as another thing he did that they wish they could do.

Part of Trump's appeal to his base is that he lives the life they dream of: bullying, saying whatever pops into their ID, crapping on gold toilets, eating fast food three meals a day, banging European models and/or porn stars, etc.

The issue is not just that Trump slept with a porn star while he was married (althought that by itself would have sunk almost any other politician). The issue is that if he made a practice of it, that could be one of the things that the Russians may be holding over his head.

You may have a point. Reagan wasn't a p**** grabbing, narcissistic, bigoted, pathological liar who was completely unfit for office.

Trump is German-Scottish and the Germans have no sense of humour. I agree that it is in Britain's interests to have friendly relations with America, even though Americans think Bernie Sanders and Corbyn are communists. There is an interesting You Tube interview with Trump with the comedian Ali G from a few years ago:

In looking back over the previous posts in this chain, I didn't see a timeline or any mention of a period of time based bench mark.

Did I miss something or did some move (or add) goalposts?
 
Trump knew within minutes no missile was hurtling toward Hawaii. He was golfing. They told him. he kept golfing. People thought they & their families were going to die FOR 38 MINS. Then when the panic was over he tweeted how media is so mean to him
 
Trump may have just faked his doctor’s note
A doctor's note released alongside Trump's recent medical exam misspelled the physician's name.
Following Donald Trump’s much awaited medical exam on Friday, the White House released a statement purportedly written by the doctor who administered the exam. The note said the exam went “exceptionally well” and pronounced Trump to be “in excellent health.”

Sounds good, right?

There’s just one problem: As Rachel Maddow pointed out Friday night, it appears that the note was not, in fact, written by White House physician Ronny Jackson.
