Hillary Clinton is Done: part 4

Curiously the New York Times reported today that despicable human being Lena Dunham had to warn Clinton’s despicable political campaign about not getting into bed with curiously even more despicable human Harvey Weinstein.

Thanks for bumping the thread!
You left out the Times. Surely they too are despicable.

I guess not, did you see the major meltdown that her flock of idiot supporters had when vanity Fair published a video gently teasing her?

Indeed. The one I noticed came from Fox news and I view it as cheap click bait and as playing into their usual highly prejudiced political agenda. But however it was portrayed by Fox, the phenomenon just makes it even more clear- A LOT OF PEOPLE genuinely respect and think very highly of Hillary Clinton. Far from done (and in truth I was done with her) she lives on in the public realm and is widely respected, even adored by a very large number of people!

Seriously?

Most admired in 2015, before it was found she couldn't even beat Donald Trump

That's your proof she isn't done yet?

Sorry, it was all over the news and in posting I grabbed the wrong link. She is again the most admired woman in 2016 and 2017, the most recent poll!

I guess that extends her record even further. And noooo! She is clearly NOT done yet!

BTW Trump lost out to Obama as most admired man in the same 2016 poll. Very unusual for a current President to lose. I don't know how Trump would have done against Clinton head to head. Being elected doesn't mean you are admired.

Is your definition of "done" limited only to running for POTUS?

And frankly, she's only "done" by that definition by that definition due to a fluke in the electoral college. I don't know that she's the woman I respect *most* in the US, but I certainly respect her far more than Toupee Fiasco...

Sorry. I should have included this in the original post. And of course I know how Clinton would do in a head to head comparison with Trump, at least as of late 2016- she won the popular vote.

I know DPD (Don't Post Drunk) but I still often forget DPH (Don't Post in a Hurry).

The most admired women’s top aide’s pervert felon scumbag husband had classified state department information on His laptop.

Hillary found that convenient, I guess.

Not enough of a derail to really complain about but we were talking about how admired she is by the public. You have already made clear how you would vote in that poll. Okay, you see her as the very devil (although I would expect much more direct evil from the devil). But most people in the USA disagree with you. They probably don't blame Clinton herself for a technical glitch in the backup of emails on her aide's personal devices any more than they blame her for Weiner's sexual oddities. I gather the Secretary of State is not typically considered to be IT support or a psychiatrist.

And ironically she is not done as long as either they or you continue to think so strongly of her.

Go Hillary go! With such popularity perhaps she will be appointed to the Supreme Court come the next Presidency!

I could not help it - this just popped into my mind:

Absolutely, in that I believe Clinton's decision to arrange email accounts independent of the official channels was highly dubious and led to all sorts of serious problems. I would have to scroll down my scale of integrity and morality considerably to get to where I list Ms. Clinton (there would certainly be a number of politicians above her in the list but there would also be quite a number of politicians below her as well).

Nonetheless I seriously doubt that Clinton intended for (or even thought possible that) emails containing classified information (but not labeled as such) to end up on the laptop of the penis-picture texting Weiner. It is amazing how technically ignorant many otherwise smart people can be. At my University we had a high level administrator who (1) illegally setup up a private email account to get around the rules that apply to the official University email, (2) emailed a friend to inform them about the new account while explaining the administrator's motivation in setting it up, and then of all things (3) included a line in the email that since this was illegal the friend should delete the email after they read it. If I were a prosecutor I could not ask for a better chain of proof that the administrator knew their actions were illegal and that they were motivated by a desire to break the law. I wonder how many copies of the "deleted" email are still floating around servers somewhere...

"most" people? adorable!

also adorable is you think that people are ignorant of the fact that Hillary intentionally set up an email system specifically to evade governmental disclosure rules, which as a direct and very predictable result ended up with classified information on the laptop of world famous pervert

My sincere apologies, but my wife also considers me adorable and she found me first.

I carefully considered using "majority" when I wrote my post but then I looked up the term "most" in the Merriam-Webster Dictionary and found the following as the primary definitions:
1 : greatest in quantity, extent, or degree- the most ability
2 : the majority of- most people
Separately looking up synonyms I found (among others) "greater."

So (sew?) "most" served perfectly well in describing how more people like her than do not. So I used it. Further, if you re-examine my post you will see I used "most" in reference to how "most" Americans view Clinton compared to your own views of her.

"Okay, you see her as the very devil (although I would expect much more direct evil from the devil). But most people in the USA disagree with you."

I suspect that even by a definition of "most" as referring to a large majority, "most" people in the USA do not share the depth of the negative views you have of her.

I do agree that many, perhaps even "most" Americans know that Hillary set up an email server to evade the rules that apply to government email (see my post above). And I recognize that you find it very upsetting that "most" Americans don't find this a serious enough concern to change their views of her as "most" admired woman. But really- was it "a direct and very predictable result" of Hillary's use of a private email server that classified information ended up "on the laptop of world famous pervert." I suspect that surprised everyone. Including, "most" likely, the penal poster himself.
