Merged The Roy Moore Batcrap Crazy Remark Thread/Roy Moore Is Done

Out of curiosity. Any idea of the age difference between her and her hubby?

According to Wikipedia, he's 70 and she's 56. They met in 1984 and married in 1985 when she was 24 and he was 38, but an interview earlier this year indicated that he had first noticed her at a dance recital about eight years earlier, when she was 15 or 16.

In 1984, Kayla met Roy Moore. Kayla told Breitbart she met Roy at a Bible study, while Roy stated in his memoir the two met at a church Christmas party. Roy's memoir noted he had first seen Kayla "many" years earlier at a dance recital held at Gadsden State Junior College. He also remembered her first and last names started with "K", but the specific number of years was not given in the memoir. Al.com columnist Kyle Whitmire publicized a July 2017 interview with Roy. In the interview, Roy relates the story of how he had first seen her at the dance recital, then stated "It was, oh gosh, eight years later, or something, I met her", referring to their meeting at the 1984 church party. In his memoir, Roy noted he was so "anxious to meet [Kayla]" in 1984, he approached her with the line "Haven't we met somewhere before?", implying he had first noticed her when she was fifteen or sixteen years old.

24 and he was 38? So in Roy Moore terms, she was a cougar.

If you consider abortion to be murdering babies, then I guess everything else becomes, if not irrelevant, the lesser of two evils.

Less about Moore (although it's questionable), but more about their support of Trump:

The bible does not actually say much about abortion. In fact, the only time it really talks about abortion is in Numbers, and the case of the Unfaithful Wife. In Numbers, it is prescribed that if a wife gets pregnant and the husband suspects she has been unfaithful, then the priest is supposed do give her an aborting mixture. If the pregnancy is aborted, then it proves that she is unfaithful. If she has not been unfaithful, the pregnancy will continue.

In other words, in the only place the bible specifically talks about abortion, it says to cause an abortion for an unfaithful wife.

In contrast, the bible does explicitly forbid things like, say, adultery. So much does it forbid adultery that it is one of the 10 commandments that folks like Moore think we should all be seeing everywhere.

So given the option between someone who thinks that people should be free to choose an abortion if they want and an adulterer, why is adultery acceptable but the pro-choice position is not?
