You must be referring to some transactional definition of "right" that I'm not familiar with. IMO, the right thing to do is tell people what you stand for and what policies you believe are in their best interests. If they elect you, the right thing to do is carry through.

Socialism? What are you talking about? Libertarians have always supported charity. There is no objection to telling people they should be charitable.

I have a lot of friends with similar sentiments to this. Even as a liberal, my advice to all of them is to retake your party. I miss the old GOP and actually think they served a purpose for this country.
 
I have to say that I'm surprised that Moore lost the election.
