I can't find anything solid for the cost of a recount - I guess it depends on exactly what they do. As I understand it there are a few options for the recount, depending on how 'manual' they want it to be.

A couple of articles I've read have mentioned figures anywhere from $500,000 upwards.

If they fail to raise the money claim a deep state conspiracy and victory ?

Can the senate GOP refuse to recognise Jones and in effect keep the seat vacant in perpetuity ?

Well the money is usually put up by the party. But it is my understanding that neither the State or the National party is willing to post the bond as they both feel it is throwing good money after bad.

As for the last question, I doubt it.
