Gratitude, Compulsion, Idiocy or Nobility?

The "Proof of Immortality" thread is for one person, the user Jabba, to present and defend his specific theory, which has nothing to do with you or your goals here. It is not for you to interlope and interpolate your own theories and ideas.

But we all part of one universe etc., are still entitled to its pros & cons.

And if I point out that "immunity" and "immortality" are two completely different words, will you pay any attention?

Mind now, I think that you and jabba deserve each other. Let me not to the marriage of true minds and all that.

Yes but these can be dependent on each other.

Actually, I couldn't yet understood, true sense & basis of that thread but got attracted because it is persisting since long back in mass people.;)

Some questions actually have right and wrong answers. You have a very casual acquaintance with facts. You don't get to demand that others meet you halfway when the facts are on their side and not yours. If fact-based opposition makes you sad, you are going to have a hard time staying happy while talking to skeptics. Frankly, we don't care how facts make you feel. If you are sad because of facts, you deserve to be sad.

Considering both sidedness or equanimity, it can also be similarly applicable to you or you types.

No. As far as English defines the terms, astrology and astronomy have almost nothing to do with each other. The scientific study of planets is part of astronomy. Astrology is fortune-telling, using elements of astronomy as its pretext.

Probably but mostly, basic clues to basis of any science should be past understandings--religious, logical, astrology or otherwise. We should not be so proudy that we were/are the ONLY.

Today under current state, we may not able to create but just can RE-search, DIS-cover, know etc. of already created in past.

May be but I felt to mention above in some different emotion.

It's rude to quote a post and then just change the subject. Please address what I wrote, not what you want to pontificate upon.

So this religion justify true universal natural & somewhat scientific unique religion.

No. Jainism is not a natural religion. Jainism is not a scientific religion. Jainism is not the one true religion. It's run-of-the-mill Hindu mysticism with an ascetic practice. Yes, you can find thousands of links from other people pontificating and sermonizing just like you.

Astronomy has nothing to do with fortune-telling. Astronomy doesn't borrow from your mysticism. It's a purely empirical science. Kindly do not insult its practitioners here by maintaining the suggestion that it somehow derives from your religion.

I read somewhere, he wished, if rebirth exists, he would like to be born as Jain in his next birth.

Take a guess at how many statements are attributed to Albert Einstein that he never said. Did you verify that he said that? Or did you just pass on gossip from whatever you hastily Googled? I know the answer. Do you?

Many such changes already happened in this topic.

You should not put such comments, which can deviate anyone, unless you are A&F in science.

Name change or language change may not be sense change. If I relate Hydrogen atom to any spiritual entity with similar properties, it will just be name/language change not sense change.

I read on some link. I have not gone back and asked him by using Time Machine. Try searching His and other scholars quotes on Jainism.

You're still not addressing my challenges.

I'm absolutely sure of what I wrote. Jainism is not a natural religion. It is not a scientific religion. It is not the one true religion.

Here, let me repeat it.

Jainism is none of the things you're claiming it is.

No, it isn't just a "name change." Astronomy has nothing to do with your fortune-telling. It did not derive from it. it does not rely on it for any of its knowledge. Do not continue to pretend astrology and astronomy are just two names for the same thing.

Within Jainism, for example, the division between spirituality and science that still dogs so much of western thought simply does not exist. So "scientific" is Jain spirituality that Albert Einstein once expressed a wish to be reborn in India as a Jain.

For more if you need, pls do some home work because you are challaging mass existing ancient natural & scientific religion.

I just remember, It was there on PubMed(lost link):

One who can't do or do not want to do, should not interfere in others doing. Great quote. Do not deviate us to lose physical, mental and spritual scientific & natural benefits from religions. Farming or secondary options did not provided basic gains.

Why do you think you need a time machine to verify that someone actually said the thing you attribute to him?

Try searching His and other scholars quotes on Jainism.

You singled out Albert Einstein, so for the moment we're talking about him. You said he spoke favorably of your religion and desired to join it if he were reincarnated. But in fact you didn't very that. You just read what someone claimed on a web site, and didn't think critically about it because it agreed with your predetermined beliefs.

Now let me repeat myself. There are many, many things attributed to Albert Einstein that he never said. People attribute quotes to him in order to pretend he endorsed their beliefs as some sort of authority. Given that, a conscientious person would, when presented with a quote that seems questionable on its face, attempt to verify the authenticity of the quote before passing on to others that it is true. You omitted that step and even went on to suggest that it would be absurd to suggest such a verification.

Why doesn't The Guardian article give a source for the quote? Could it possibly be because its author is a well known author on mysticism and not an expert in physics, comparative religion, or history? He's a Jain evangelist, just like all the others who pass around the alleged Einstein quote as something "everyone knows." For another example, every Muslim "knows" that Neil Armstrong heard the Islamic call to prayer while on the Moon. They will recount this story with absolute faith that it is true, because it has been passed down to them, preached from their pulpits, and written about in their books. It's also entirely false. Just because every Jain "knows" that Einstein wanted to be one of them doesn't make it a true story. Don't underestimate the lengths to which some evangelists will go to pretend their religion has a rational basis.

You advise others to do their homework, but we find it's you who's just passing on gossip as if it were fact.

I agree. Therefore do not impose your baseless ascetism on those of us trying very hard to save and improve the species by using principles of actual science, not made-up mysticism.

Do not deviate us to lose physical, mental and spritual scientific & natural benefits from religions.

Asked and answered. You just foist your moralizations and cherry-pick the evidence to appear to support it.

Farming or secondary options did not provided basic gains.

Factually false. Yours is the ascetic religion most of whose clergy died of famine in 300 BCE. Let that sink in before you start judging what others have done to thrive.

If your scientific basis and schólars are so weak and misguàding, how one can base it únless it prove by somewhat experancing majóriry of people by physically showing & expetancing people to confirm new shape of éarth as lately declared by scientists. Ok, since it does not look like so to me, I am skeptical in it. Show me physically like football in my hand, no other basis.
Now since you claimed Jainism and all other religions are fake, prove it with A&F supportings. Otherwise you will just be a fake teller in preception, ego, intrests, needs or idiocy. Anyone can also have lógic to call for DNA proofs. Sorry.
