Well, the one at the other end of the hall has some topographic features that simply beg to be studied.

I had to smile.

I literally have a topographic map of Georgia in my hallway!

Well, portions of N GA, E TN and W NC.

Still, I wondered for a moment how you knew!

I don't know how you know that there's no evidence.
Either way, I don't think I've seen any claim that it was unfairly or irregularly awarded yet.

The_animus made that claim in the very first post that linked to the news story

Blatant corruption in the award to rebuild Puerto Rico. No one saw this coming a mile away.

The_animus also did not respond with any evidence for the "theory" when I asked for it.

The l8elvis seems to have backed the animus with this post

I don't, but it appears to be the best working theory that explains how this company was selected.

Do you have a more plausible alternate theory ?

It really is about erasing everything that President Obama did.

Trump asked about reversing Obama to rename Denali as Mt. McKinley

President Donald Trump, during a meeting earlier this year with Alaska's two Republican senators, asked about reversing a decision made by the Obama administration and renaming the nation's largest mountain, according to Sen. Dan Sullivan.
...
The meeting came as Trump and the senators discussed several Obama administration moves limiting development in Alaska.
But Trump had one final issue on his mind. "He looked at me and said, 'I heard that the big mountain in Alaska also had -- also its name was changed by executive action. Do you want us to reverse that?'" Sullivan said.

Fortunately, they showed some sense.

"Lisa -- Sen. Murkowski -- and I jumped over the desk," Sullivan said. "We said no, no!"
Trump, perplexed that the two Republicans wanted to keep an Obama-era decision, asked why.
"The Alaska Native people named that mountain over 10,000 years ago," Sullivan said. "Denali, that was the name."

You have to love his firm grasp of the facts. "The big mountain in Alaska." And absolutely flummoxed that they didn't want to reverse it.

Maybe we should try and make predictions about the kinds of demeaning nicknames Trump will post for Jeff Flake in his morning twitter rant.
Will he refer to him as "The Flake" like he has before? Or tack on something like Goofy' Jeff Flake, or something similar?

ETA: dammit... Trump is up early today.

You are missing the 'Big Picture' here.

It's not about Flake's comments (Trump twittered about it about 10 minutes ago).

It's about the STANDING OVATIONS Trump got. He's mentioned it several times, like that's what the meeting was all about.

Next step is damnatio memoriae on Obama. No one would ever know that he lived at all.

So let it be written. So let it be done.

You have to wonder what history would be like if President Obama hadn't made those jokes about Trump at the White House Correspondents Dinner in 2011. Given his usual thin-skinned reaction to criticism, one can infer that his hurt feelings are a primary motivation. The political equivalent of buying a rival business, shutting it down, and tearing down the building.

And that's entirely in character for that asshat Trump.

They might... many people are saying those are the most standing ovations, you look at previous presidents, none of them. How many, there must have been 10 of the biggest, and these are great people, people who care about America, the biggest ovations on the senate floor ever.

How is Fox News not considered an in kind contribution to the Republican party? That story they ran with is based on a Washington Post story the RNC sent around removing one line to alter the GOP's involvement in starting the dossier.

It's telling that the only takeaway from that meeting is that he got a standing ovation.

But other senators were less amused by the meeting, which they complained lacked substance and focus.

“He said the tax cuts are ‘going to be great,’ ” without going into any detail, said one GOP senator who requested anonymity to assess the meeting candidly.

“He just went on and on, talking about his accomplishments and going off on tangents. It was inane,” the lawmaker added.

They've figured out to placate an imbecile that has no clue what he's doing.

Okay this one time I'll play your game of Bobbing for Apples (aka JAQ'ing)

If you want evidence in the form of a recorded conversion with someone admitting they gave them the contract for illegitimate reasons, well I'm sorry but generally such evidence doesn't exists.

But a skeptic and critical thinker who looks into this might question why such a small, foreign owned business, whose main area isn't even in what they were hired for and whose largest previous project was 300k and even that fell through, was given a $300 million contract over larger more established businesses whose expertise is in this area.

The most likely answer is corruption, especially when we've seen total disregard for ethical practices, business or otherwise, from this administration.

I'm afraid this is all the time I'll be giving you so if you want more information you'll have to research it yourself
