Less literately, at minimum Trump keeps her presence alive. And of course she is not done as long as this thread is not done.
 
So Hannity and lesser pundits like Cernovich are going bonkers about a checksum Assange has tweeted. Apparently the news tomorrow will break her neck after she already broke her toe. How cruel.
 
So maybe 80+ pages into the 4th continuation of this is a weird place to ask this but... how exactly are we defining "done" here?

I mean she holds no official office right now. Is Jimmy Carter "done?" Is either of the Bushs' "done?" Is any former First Lady, Secretary of State, President Candidate that's still alive and at all active in politics "done?"

Well, given that the first three installments of this thread and the first good week of this fourth one have been before the 2016 election, and assorted morons made a meme of reminding us on every page that she wasn't done until that day, I guess it has something to do with her losing the presidency.

How do you wish to define it? She has not held an official office since 2013' when she quit as sos. Do you think she was done then?

I don't think however that we are defining it the same way as was used in the trump is done thread.

She lost the Presidency? I thought she was 98% certain to win it.

Somebody should put out a book explaining what happened.
 
I'd probably say she's done politically campaigning, as in I honestly don't see her making a real bid for another high elected or appointed office again, but not done being politically active, in that she will stay a major figurehead and active in the Democratic Party and politics in general.

I'll leave it to other to figure out which side gets the "win" under that definition.
 
I've been to funerals where it has been said of the deceased:

"He is not dead, but truly lives on as long as we carry memories of him in our hearts and our brains."

Hillary is not done! Well, not as a public figure, like it or not. And I suspect she will continue to have a substantial amount of very quiet influence in politics away from the public eye. But in terms of running for a political office- I doubt it.

I also recently read that the American Cancer Society and the Clinton Health Access Initiative partnered to convince pharmaceutical companies to improve access to cancer treatment in Africa by offering cancer drugs at steeply reduced prices:

So perhaps the Clinton Health Initiative has done some good at last and perhaps Hillary will spend some time doing charity work. (I realize I am giving The Big Dog an opening here for more trashing of the Clintons but I am feeling generous today).

Perhaps! That way she can put the money she got from monsters like Harvey Weinstein and various Dictators in the Middle East to good use!
