North Korea accuses USA of declaring war

Not relevant to your claim.

You mean my claim that the US has a habit if poking its nose into how other countries are run and trying to or actually effecting regime change via covert or overt methods? Are you really going to deny that?

That wasn't your claim. You moved the goalpost. I'm not interested in chasing your goalpost around.

Well the post had two claims.

1) That your president wanted Regime Change in NK.

we can't call out the US now for the actions of their President

and 2) The US had a habit of to the point of obsession with trying to force Regime Change on countries it is at odds with.

and apparently their continually obsession with Regime Change with any country they are at odds with?

The first claim is clear in DJT's tweets. He wants regime change in NK.

The second is also clear, I can give you a list if you like.

No where did I state that Regime Change in NK was official US Policy, I said that your President's actions showed that he was wanting it and the US had a habit of doing it.

You are the one trying to move the posts by saying I claimed something I didn't.

Or Brit or Yank?
Fair point, I suppose there's a degree of context involved that isn't particularly clear here.

Or "cow-orker"?
The context here seems a bit clearer ;) Unless you actually work with sentient livestock, maybe. Ultra-secret government experiments to create the ultimate bovine super-soldier? Whole new connotation for 'running of the bulls'?

Ah. So an ethnic slur akin to 'jap' or 'nip' or 'chink', then?

No, it's not an ethnic slur. South Koreans are ethnically identical to North Koreans, but the term doesn't apply to them. It's specific to North Koreans only.

Some abbreviations (such as 'paki') target ethnicities rather than nationalities.

Some abbreviations (such as 'brit') target nationalities rather than ethnicities.

As i've never heard of South Koreans (or other Asians) being called "norks" or "norkers", I'm guessing this is the second type (by definition, not an "ethnic" slur).

Exactly it is a national slur, like calling the french cheese eating surrender monkeys, or the germans krauts.

Is there a derisive connotation to the term?

Derisive? Such as "You live in a totalitarian nightmare dystopia run by someone who makes Trump look restrained and presidential"? That kind of derisiveness?

Once again...racism! Stop the thread!

Who gives a crap? Why do you?

Norker = North Korean. It's cute and to the point.

Funny how Jap is racist when it's simply short for Japanese. WWII ended people.

Ya I know I know, but I think this BS that we play with offensive words is tiresome in such instances.

Gawdamn people you're driving me insane! :boggled: Stop being offended for other people - or something.

There was a thread a day or two ago where someone called Upchurch (a member here) "Uppie". Someone else complained for Upchurch, even though Upchurch himself is okay with the nick name. SJW to the rescue!

Just stop this hyper sensitivity stuff, it doesn't belong in a discussion about - whatever this thread was about. I honestly had to look up to see.
